Beacon of Hope Hospice, a hospice service provider with locations throughout the Midwest and Southwest, is currently seeking a Hospice Care Consultant- Sales to join their professional team. Based in St. Louis, Beacon of Hope Hospice (www.bohhospice.org) is committed to exceeding the expectations of every patient and family member they serve, and believes that making a hospice care choice is not a decision to relinquish hope, it is a determination to redefine it. Our Hospice Care Consultant- Sales will manage and grow our business and develop community relationships. They will become Brand Ambassadors, interacting with the community to establish cooperation and understanding of the mission-vision of the Company while promoting hospice care and programs.
Primary Responsibilities are:
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies which achieve referral/admission growth objectives in coordination with Branch Manager and Patient Care Manager
- Providing basic sales and marketing training and coaching to hospice staff members while providing community outreach functions
- Participating in fund development activities through implementation of direct-mail appeals, memorial appeals and community awareness as well as donor recognition events
- Communicating effectively with managers, patients, families and co-workers to better promote the Company’s Hospice Care Program
- Develop, execute and evaluate strategic marketing plans to build trusting relationships with the community and targeted referral customers.
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
- At least (3) three years experience in professional healthcare sales is preferred.
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to meet clients.
