GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Work activities in this position primarily involve the operation and general maintenance of recreational facilities such as the boat rental or activity center building.

You will be renting and showing people how to operate model sailboats. No experience is needed, we will provide all training. We have flexible hours and excellent starting wages.

Boat Rentals Greeters are the first line of communication for guests arrive at the lake that have rented a boat or are trying to find out information on renting a vessel. Greeters establish a welcoming atmosphere from the minute a guest arrives at the Boat Rentals Information Booth or Office. Greeters are attentive and always willing to answer questions. They inform the guests what their pick-up times are for the rental boats and where the guest should park for loading and unloading. Greeters should be highly knowledgeable about Lake Powell Resort and Marinas and the surrounding areas; acting as a useful resource for all guests. Greet all guests upon their arrival at the Boat Rental Booth or in the Boat Rentals Office
Provide information on where and how to book boats, jet skis, rooms if needed and other vacation activities
Develop a strong knowledge of all products and services offered in order to constantly up sell
Ensure all customers renting boats are informed on where to check in and park upon arrival.
Greeters should be highly knowledgeable about Lake Powell Resort and Marinas and the surrounding areas; acting as a concierge resource for all guests. This includes but is not limited to: retail, the lodge, food & beverage opening hours and services, tours and activities and surrounding area amenities and activities such as other National Parks in The Grand Circle
Maintain a daily log of arrivals for Houseboats.
Ensure cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere of the Boat Rentals Booth, Walk ways and surrounding areas at all times.
Maintain daily side work –ensure any required logs are completed in a timely manner
Effectively communicate with guests, to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service
Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations

Must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner

Position assists our customers when they come in to pick up their unit by explaining and demonstrating the operation of the boat, motor, trailer or ATV. Position is additionally responsible for checking in boats when they are delivered to the dealership.
Essential Job Functions:
Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Print daily delivery schedules to prepare for that day's assignments. Inspect all boats scheduled for delivery and report the condition of the unit on a check list to the Service Manager. Verify unit's serial number and confirm all accessories have been installed. Check all rigging and mounting instructions against the work order for proper installation. Contact the customer with any questions or delays in the order and confirm the delivery date and time.
Inspect the detailing of the unit prior to delivery. Stage the unit for delivery at the scheduled time of pick-up. Greet customers at time of delivery and take to them to the Business Office for completion of required paperwork. Explain to customer how the unit operates and where accessories have been installed. Complete the warranty packet for each unit, review the unit's packet of information provided and explain warranty.
Place follow up call to the customer within one week of delivery. Greet delivery drivers to help unload new units received at the dealership. Check in units by verifying serial numbers on each unit against invoice. Once bar codes labels have been printed, place bar codes on units received
Assist with physical inventories. May be required to serve as back up to Service Writer and / or Warranty Clerk positions. Maintain a clean and professional work area. Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.

A Boat Dock Attendant/ Activities Staff member is a position that will be involved in the general upkeep of the Marina, Pool, and Beach areas as well as the upkeep of all watercraft, PFD's, water sports equipment. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
