A Sort Crew member is responsible to unload trailers, open each package that comes to their work station and to accurately and efficiently determine the status of how that package should be handled.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Unload trailers.
• Maintain knowledge of package sort criteria.
• Maintain knowledge of customers who have “Special Account” status.
• Maintain knowledge of FDA regulations.
• Appropriately handle all Federal Law items.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to process 32-40 packages per hour
• Ability to read and comprehend product information.
• Ability to operate all equipment required to perform the essential functions of the job.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six months previous warehouse experience, be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., and have the ability to stand for up to an 8 hour shift.
This position starts at $11.00 per hour with the opportunity of up to a .50 cent increase at 90 days and again at six months!
Shifts start at 10:30am/11:00am, $10.02/hr.

TC Recycling, LLC is seeking a sorter to sort recyclable materials into applicable components; plastics, cans, and glass. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Sort materials by manually picking them up from a moving conveyor belt. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Must be a dependable, self-motivated individual.

Recycling Line Sorter
The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills. Temp-to-Hire positions as Recycle Sorters; starting pay is $9.50/hour, once hired within 60 days, pay increases to $10/hour, then $0.50/ increase after 6 months. Opportunities for overtime. Benefits offered after 90 day probationary period.
- Sort and segregate recoverable materials (e.g., aluminum, plastic, glass, paper, etc.) from incoming waste.
- Deposit recoverable materials safely and efficiently into appropriate chute.
- Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.
- Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations.
- Inspect incoming loads for unacceptable waste; remove unacceptable items as required.
- Communicate with equipment operators regarding incoming loads of special waste or other loads that require special attention.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Must be able to stand for the duration of shift. Experience with moving parts, assembly, or machinery is a plus but not required.

The Sweeper position is responsible for assuring that the mail is properly sorted and placed in trays and sleeved according to USPS regulations. This position is required to meet departmental standards which include hourly quotas, quality standards and procedural adherence.
- Checks mail to assure it is sorting to the proper bin, according to the current sort scheme.
- Maintains a constant check for full bins, fallen letters and rejected mail.
- Clears jams immediately and places recovered pieces in correct bins.
- Checks the meter impression for correct date, money and endorsements legible.
- Properly tray mail as it comes out of bins.
- Monitors the print quality of the barcodes and assures correct barcode is being sprayed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
