Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, taping, de-burring, molding and all bench operations and inspect.
Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
Education and Experience:
-High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year factory related experience.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.
Basic computer skills required
-Light to moderate physical effort required.

Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility.

Responsible for continuous boiler operations and operation of portable boilers on an as-required basis. Must be able to adjust a wide variety of boilers for maximum operational efficiency.
1.Monitor boiler feed water to ensure proper water conditions to prevent mineral deposits and corrosion in the boiler.
2.Perform preventive maintenance actions and perform boiler fueling operations.
3.Employ instrumentation and trouble-shooting skills to detect and resolve boiler operational problems.
4.Perform fuel transfer operations
5.Responsible for modifying steam distribution systems associated with each boiler, which includes high and low pressure steam lines, condensate returns, air lines, water, oil and gas lines/valves, strainers and boiler chemical feed systems.

Executes predetermine methods to package product by the press or store as work in process. Performs visual inspections to detect obvious defects. Keep box counts in order to document the quantity of product being produced.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Package products at the press by following predetermine methods to minimize error.
Consistently meets production requirements.
Empty catch totes into gaylord where packaging at the press is not specified.
Perform basic visual inspection of product and report any quality defects to the shift supervisor.
Keep production area clean in order to promote a safe and neat work environment.
Packaging and labeling
Report any and all safety violations to the shift supervisor to ensure the working environment is free from safety hazards.
Engages in the daily operator maintenance program such as basic oiling of machines.
Collects data for Production Boards.
Performs other duties as assigned
Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures including but not limited to PPE, steel toe safety shoes, maintaining safety guards, etc.

Provide first quality warps for internal and external customers.
Inspect nylon/lycra as it is uncased for correct denier, merge, type and any visible defects.
To ensure accountability - each package of nylon is marked to identify the shift that loaded it.
Responsible for driving stock picker into nylon creels, placing package on holders, tie new packages onto thread line, transfer protective caps, remove small packages and place in boxes for recycling.
Return repacks to carton and place on pallets to be turned to the vendor.
Help Operators to restart machines after creels have been reloaded and tied over, removing any tight ends or defective packages.
Patrol lycra creels for any thread lines that are above or below the packages as the machine is restarted.
Responsible for adding packages and replacing threads when the warping orders call for any changes.
Frequently exposed to high, precarious places and exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Obtain Stock Picker Operators License.
Must have 20/20 vision or 20/20 correctable vision.
Require drug test.
Must pass vision and hearing test.

- The successful candidate must be willing to learn and become proficient in multiple facets of stationary and rotating magnetics with an initial focus on the stator production process at PSD South. Understand ITW operating principles and apply them to the manufacturing area.
Cross-training will be necessary in all areas of manufacturing. Candidate needs to be willing to work at any of the 3 PSD plant locations as business needs dictate. Willingness to adjust shift starting/ending times on occasions is required.
