Assist in planning, laying-out, installing, testing and repair of all types of boiler systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision.
Use effective verbal and written communication skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately.
Assist boilermaker in planning, diagramming and lay-out for boilermaker's work.
Learn to read and understand plans and specifications, including orthographic and isometric drawings. Visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
With regard to that portion of the work assigned, develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications and plan, lay-out, install and/or repair all systems in accordance with those plans and specifications.
Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered.
Learn to observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility.
Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.

Use appropriate hand and power tools to install all types of structural steel framework and supports of tube systems. Understand rigging of heavy and light components.
Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices (i.e. back-up alarms, smell of smoke, different colored warning tags, warning sirens).
Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures in a safe manner.
Produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications and industry standards.

Understand all applicable boiler codes and pressure vessel codes.

Education, Experience or Formal Training:
Learn and develop a working knowledge of iron working techniques, pipe fitting techniques and methods for different types of boiler systems.
In addition, must have all necessary tools (see Boilermaker tool list).
Ability to work in conditions common to a construction site including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, sun, cold, noise.
Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift.

Assists the skilled craftsperson in the performance of their craft duties by performing supportive type chores as directed by their craftsperson. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Assists the journey Boilermaker on all work activities.
Can and often perform journey tasks, contingent on the level of experience and directions from the journey craftsperson.
Helpers are required to assist in staging materials and necessary tools to execute each work activity, and will assist in the layout and measuring of materials for installation.
Normally makes sure gasket and bolting materials are relocated to the scaffolding or platform where the craftsperson will perform the work.
Helpers are also required to assist welders (where applicable) pulling welding led to the work location from the machine and adjust machine as necessary per welders directions.
Often is required to perform runner/expeditor functions with the crew or for the craftsperson as well as running down the Foreman or GF to answer questions or provide additional information.

Job Description The CDL Helper rides on and/or drives the vehicle and assists a Driver in providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers on a designated route. The CDL Helper is responsible for safely driving, loading waste and poly carts, as well as carrying bags and containers to the vehicle for disposal.
The position also assists the Driver in maneuvering his or her vehicle by directing the Driver from the ground. In addition, the Helper helps to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as the route and work area.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Principal Responsibilities • Rides on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route and also drives the vehicle as necessary to complete the route. • Climbs on and off vehicle to load refuse, waste and poly carts; lifts and carries trash bags and containers to the truck for disposal. • Operates packing mechanism and various levers and handles to activate the lifting and loading mechanism. • Assists Driver is safely operating the vehicle by directing the Driver from the ground. • Cleans waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip; sprays and cleans the hopper and truck. • Performs complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy; reports any safety issues on standard reports. • Courteously interacts with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner. • Continuously monitors waste for evidence of unacceptable waste. • Cleans area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies. • Maintains adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are service in a timely and efficient manner. • Follows all required safety policies and procedures. • Actively participates in the Company’s ReSOP program. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. JOB DESCRIPTION Perform drilling rig running operations in a safe and efficient manner. Work with other rotary helpers to perform drilling operations on the rig floor, mix mud and perform equipment maintenance as needed. Working closely with the engineering group and the rig crew, ensure that test activities are performed as planned.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Know and understand Weatherford’s Operational Excellence and Performance System (OEPS) and the Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE) policies and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. Work closely with the Driller and the Rotary Helper A to ensure that drilling rig operations are performed safely and efficiently.
Assist in coordinating and performing tasks on the rig with the other rotary helpers to ensure projects are run safely and efficiently. Perform rig floor duties (handling slips, elevators, tongs, BHA’s) to accomplish the task at hand. Assist in the operation of the drilling mud system including mixing mud, maintaining mud characteristics, operating and maintaining the shaker and desander systems and operating and maintaining the mud pumps.
Work on equipment in the derrick as required. Assist with the operation and maintenance of the tongs and other mechanized equipment. Keep the rig and the adjacent area clean, neat and organized.
