Bomb Carriage Units Systems Engineer
System Engineering support of the development and integration of UAI Type II Bomb Carriage Units (BRUs) with the Small Diameter Bombs with threshold and objective DoN and USAF aircraft.
Provide system engineering support, leadership and recommendations to the UAI Type II Bomb Carriage Units and Small Diameter Bomb (SDBII) Program Managers and Lead Engineers for threshold and objective Department of Navy (DoN) and United States Air force (USAF) aircraft integration efforts.
Responsible for supporting all aspects of the DoN Systems Engineering Technical Review Process.
Responsible for the development of bomb rack specifications and verifying traceability.
Responsible for supporting DoN EDRAP process and Government TAE interaction.
Responsible for determination of contractor compliance to requirements.
Responsible for assessing qualification testing and contractor performance to test objectives.
Responsible for reviewing test reports for sufficiency.
Responsible for developing ECPs and supporting the ECP review and boarding of changes on behalf of the DoN.

Engineering Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) plus four to eight years of experience.
Knowledge of NAVAIR Instruction 4355.19 Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process and documents.
Knowledge of MIL-STD-8591 AIRBORNE STORES, SUSPENSION EQUIPMENT AND AIRCRAFT-STORE INTERFACE (CARRIAGE PHASE) and system qualification testing.
Knowledge of DoD 5000 Series Acquisition process and documents.
Knowledge of DoD Airworthiness certification and support process.
Previous experience in aircraft and store integration programs.
Working knowledge of Universal Armament Interface (UAI) interface requirements, development and certification process.
This position will support the driver with deliveries and the branch operation by working in the warehouse and loading and unloading roofing material both in the yard and rooftop.
Essential Job Duties:
Pull, stage, and load orders onto outgoing trucks by the repetitive lifting of up to 100 pounds per item.
Aid Driver in inspecting materials scheduled for delivery to confirm that the shipment is correct and that it is properly loaded and secured.
Ride with the driver to the job site to unload roofing product at the job site.
Assist driver in evaluating the delivery site, noting potential hazards, obstacles, physical challenges, etc.; guide the driver in maneuvering onto and off customers property to avoid damage as needed.
Catch material off of conveyor and stack shingle bundles and other roofing material as directed.
Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Receive in-coming roofing products, commodities, and materials; stock all roofing material received in appropriate bins or storage locations.
Count, verify and unload incoming orders and shipments.
Operate forklift with foot and hand controls in a safe manner to complete orders onto delivery equipment.
Keep all bays stocked and neat to facilitate efficient load building processes.
Keep staging areas clean and organized.
Treat customers, contractors, and associates in a courteous, considerate, and cooperative manner.
Follow safety procedures as outlined by company safety program and operator manual for the forklift.
Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follow all safety procedures; maintain a safe and clean environment.
Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error-free and damage free results.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum education required High School or GED preferred.
Minimum experience required 1 to 2 years as striker or roof loader; 1-year warehouse experience. Forklift operation and a license are preferred.
Other Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast pace, ever-changing environment. Ability to work in heights ranging from 1 to 3 story residential buildings and 1 to 2 story commercial roofs.
