Maintains continuous machine operations between shifts by reporting to assigned workstation prepared to assume production from previous shift at shift start.
Maintains continuous machine during shift by loading, running, packaging, and stacking finished product.
Performs and is responsible for in-process and final on-line inspection and testing of manufactured product.
Ensures quality control requirements are understood and met by reviewing all special instructions and requirements.
Documents items by performing required Statistical Process Control; quality checks/tests; lot number requirements; shipping label requirements.
Resolves production problems by; notifying set up personnel for assistance; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources; if necessary, discontinue manufacturing operations until the problem is resolved.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment of complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Documents production information into appropriate reporting system.
Promotes teamwork and effective working relationships among all contacts by setting positive examples.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment; attends required training, identifies and reports hazards; wears required PPE for position; and is accountable for self as well as co-worker safety.

Roll Tender - Machine Operator 12Hr
Our Roll Tender Operator is an important position of the dryer sheet manufacturing process. You will monitor fabric simultaneously being pulled from multiple rolls on a wall grid, all coming together into a "Pull Section" (like the lanes of a highway all coming together into one). Here are the three main phases:
1. Load the wall grid: place the fabric rolls onto horizontal spindles (rods), with the assistance of a lift for the higher spindles.
2. Feed the machine: route all fabric from all the rolls into the "Pull Section".
3. Documentation: complete the paperwork verifying that you have used the correct fabric, lengths, and cuts.

Quad is currently seeking a Press Assistant I/Roll Tender to work in the Charlotte, NC Retail Plant. As a member of the press crew, the Press Assistant I (Roll Tender) has previous experience as a Press Asst. II (stacker/jogger) and is able to perform the duties of both positions and may be asked to do so from time to time. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understanding standard operating procedures of the department
Manage the paper supply inventory on the press and feed rolls into the press
Coordinate plates and tickets for upcoming jobs and hang paper according to job tickets
Set up and make splices, bend and hang plates as well as hang blankets and assist with webbing up press
Ensure correct ink is available for job and check ink fountains regularly
Set fold during make-readies and check trim sheets to proof and complete necessary roll reports and paperwork accurately
Communicate effectively with plate room and paper warehouse and coordinate changing of ink, etch, and silicone totes as needed
Wash up the press and assist with preventative maintenance.

Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of presses and roll stands and the ability to perform basic math calculations are essential.
Good verbal and written comprehension skills are a must.

- This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day, the ability to lift up to15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis, and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. The Tender Manager, Ocean Freight will be responsible for overseeing pricing activities within our Regional Ocean Commercial Center (ROCC) team. Ability to work in a complex matrix structure with various stakeholders, business units, functions and products to achieve business objectives, while delivering a winning solution to our customers
Engagement with product, commercial, customers and management at all levels globally
Recommend optimal solutions to improve service processes, needs and objectives of our customers
Ability to understand and present DGF products and services, focusing on the value proposition DGF has to offer (when required)
Comfort level in presenting and attending face to face meetings with our commercial team to ensure DGF's proposal is presented intelligently, accurately, and competitively
Skills & Qualifications:
5-10 years logistics industry experience preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
In-depth knowledge of Ocean Freight forwarding business and understanding of supply chain logistics
Proficient understanding of Ocean Freight product offering
Strong project management skills paired with pro-active behavior to stay on top of multiple deadlines for multiple bids in parallel
Good communication skills to properly engage with various country OCCs
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Mature judgment and decision-making skills and abilities
Advanced knowledge of Excel a must
Must be able to adapt quickly to ongoing demands (RFQ volume, customer expectations, etc.)
High sense of urgency; able to work and stay focused under pressure
Must have the ability to prioritize

Regional Tender Analyst
The Regional Tender Analyst is responsible for supporting business opportunities through growth of Global/Regional RFQs and Tenders. This role helps in supporting the submission of market competitive rates from all Americas countries on a bid by bid basis.
Job Duties:  - 
Analyzes data gathered from internal and external sources (vendors, operations, product, commercial, marketing) to create a cost-beneficial solution response proposals for the customer
Responsible for completion of global RFQ's according to set process
Interact with country pricing teams
Review offers through analysis of data gathering.
Complete RFQ documentation and follow up
Continuously update of RFQ pricing database library to contribute to the effective processing and competitiveness of RFQ's
Ensure adherence to Global Tender Process Compliance
Ensure Timeliness of Americas Region submissions
Preparing responses that meet high standard of quality, completeness and competitiveness of Americas Region Submissions
Other duties as required and assigned by Regional Tender Manager and Regional leadership
Compile information received from local countries into templates
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in logistics, business administration, or related field
Prefer 1 year of experience with International Transportation
PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to interpret and carry out instructions, written, oral or diagram form
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
