The current vacancy is in Ukiah. The list developed from this recruitment will be used for a limited period to fill open and promotional, regular full-time, and part-time positions in locations throughout the County, should they occur. Effective July 1, 2018 this classification will receive a 3% pay increase.
Under supervision, drives County Bookmobile to assigned locations; maintains Bookmobile in clean and operable condition; performs moderately complex technical, paraprofessional circulation duties providing library services to the general public and performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Drive bookmobile to and from assigned locations by practicing safe and defensive driving in order to provide library services to county residents in outlying areas that have no facilities immediately available.
Maintain Bookmobile in a clean and operative condition by washing the exterior and detailing the interior of the vehicle on a periodic basis, ensuring that routine maintenance (e.g., oil change, tune-up, safety inspection, etc.) and needed repairs are performed in a timely manner; perform minor vehicle troubleshooting and repair in order to handle emergency breakdowns to ensure that the assigned bookmobile schedule is followed.
Provide information about library policies and services while at designated stops by answering questions and requests; assist patrons in locating materials or take requests for particular items; advise and/or recommend titles when appropriate in order to provide customer service; provide routine reference information, referring non-routine reference questions to Bookmobile Librarian.
Process library card applications by keying information into the computer data base and issuing new cards; process book purchases and secure monies from same; check library materials in and out; provide clerical support to Bookmobile Librarian.
Load and unload books and other materials from the Bookmobile in order to keep the transported collection current.
Participate in the promotion of the library services through public relations, publicity, endorsement of library events, marketing, community awareness drives, fundraising and other activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
One to two years of commercial driving experience that includes direct public contact and customer service duties, or when also possessing required license, a combination of related education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Licenses and Certifications:
A valid California Commercial Driver's License, Class A or Class B with Air Brake Certification is required at the time of application.

HOLIDAYS AND PERSONAL LEAVE
Mendocino County observes 11 paid holidays per year. Employees are granted 24 – 48 hours of personal leave annually, depending upon Bargaining Unit.
Accrues at the rate of two weeks per year for three years. Three weeks per year after three years, four weeks after eight years and five weeks after 15 years.
Paid sick leave accrues at the rate of 1.25 days per month, or 15 days per year. Accruals are pro-rated for part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week. Part-time employees working less than 20 hours per week, and extra-help employees receive up to 24 hours (or 3 days) of paid sick leave annually.

Greensboro Auto Auction and Direct Transport are currently seeking a driver for our 10 car carriers. We run all late model 388 Peterbilt trucks with cottrell high rail trailers equipped with straps not chains.
All of our trucks are strategically maintained and well kept. Drivers will be home on an average 3-4 nights per week, all trucks are run on E log system and are mostly quallcomm dispatched. Pay ranges from .58-.73 per mile based on the number of cars being hauled at one time, drivers will run an average of 1500-2500 miles per week.

Success for the position of a Pharmacy Service Liaison-Courier requires that the team member have at least a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), have a current and valid driver's license (in the State where employed) and be insurable under AHF's insurance policies. A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience as a Pharmacy Service Liaison-Courier or equivalent, have data input skills and experience as a courier in healthcare is highly desirable.

Driver - Transport Driver (Tractor Trailer)-Part Time/Days (Cdl A Required)
Position drives a tractor/trailer truck to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of predominantly finished products or materials/supplies. Checks and/or assists in the loading/unloading of the trailer. Obtains proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups. Inspects vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip. Must maintain a DOT driver's log and adhere to all DOT regulations. May require driving in adverse weather conditions. Position may occasionally be required to stay over night. Position requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time. Also requires lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds if they fall in trailer.

Fleet Driver / Senior Fleet Driver
The Fleet Driver and Senior Fleet Driver positions are responsible for safely and securely transporting CarMax vehicles to and from CarMax locations using company-owned transportation equipment. Possession of a valid state issued commercial driver's license, Class A (CDL) is required for these positions. The CarMax Fleet Driver and Senior Fleet Driver maintain close relationships with other store departments and Home Office associates to ensure that the transportation needs are fulfilled.
The chosen candidate will be hired into Fleet Driver or Senior Fleet Driver, depending upon experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspects transport equipment daily prior to each shift and completes the CarMax Driver's Daily Vehicle Inspection Report.
Produces appropriate documentation (bill of lading) to support all transportation moves.
Loads and secures vehicles on company-supplied assets (hydraulic-operated trailer) for transport.
Transports and off-loads vehicles at appropriate locations.
Stages delivered vehicles as designated by management at location.
Completes bills of lading ensuring store associate at the receiving location signs for receipt of all vehicles.
Submits completed bills of ladings to manager at the end of each day.
Uses electronic on-board recorder to maintain logs to ensure proper compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules & regulations.
Maintains all manufacturers' suggested scheduled maintenance as described by owner's manual for the transport equipment.
Reports any and all damages to transport equipment or vehicles being transported.
Maintains interior and exterior cleanliness of transport equipment clean at all times.
Safely drive commercial motor vehicles to transport CarMax property for sale or to otherwise further CarMax's business interests.

Rail Testing Responsibilities:
Assist and study to perform all functions of flaw detection processes including data interpretation, hand testing, and flaw classification under the guidance of the Chief Operator.
Enforce Company safety policy at all times.
Study to operate test in conformance of established equipment parameters, values and calibrations under the guidance of the Chief Operator.
Assist with entering required data into DCS reporting system.
Assist Chief Operator to follow and maintain expected standard of productivity without compromising quality or system integrity.
Study and understand all specific customer procedures and guidelines regarding flaw detection under the guidance of the Chief Operator.
Act as primary driver of the detector car.
- Maintenance of Equipment
Follow proper maintenance procedures. Assure all maintenance is performed in a safe manner.
Assist with regularly scheduled maintenance operations such as PM servicing, DOT Inspections, hi-rail inspections, etc., to assure proper equipment operation, maximum life, and lowest cost.
Assist with maintaining equipment to a condition sufficient to satisfy scheduled RR test cycles, while maintaining production levels established by contract.
Assist with maintaining standard inventory at a sufficient level to reduce down time.
Maintain an organized and clean detector car.
Assist field maintenance personnel, as necessary, in repairs to equipment.
Assist with routine troubleshooting and repairs as directed by Danbury maintenance personnel.
Make periodic checks of equipment and report any problems to the Chief Operator.
Customer Relation Responsibilities:
Comply with and provide instruction to fellow crew members concerning all policies, guidelines, and procedures specific to the customer.
Exercise diplomacy and cooperation at all times with RR personnel.
Report in detail any complaints by RR personnel immediately to the Chief Operator.
Comply with any specific safety rule that is dictated by the customer.
Work under the general direction of Chief Operator and Operator to operate and maintain rail flaw detector vehicles.
Train to operate detector car according to established Company guidelines and procedures.
Assembles cardboard containers or builds wooden skids or crates and binds packaged products.
Prepare and send SRS vehicle parts orders or other outgoing shipments.
Generates computerized shipping labels or manual packing slips.
Receive incoming shipments and deliver to shop.
Operates forklift to move heavy materials to there required work areas.
Maintain UPS and other shipping records.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Valid CDL Drivers License
One year experience driving a commercial vehicle
Skills/Competencies: Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
All work to be completed in field. Weather conditions may be extreme.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Report any safety violations or fault conditions to supervisor.

- Minimum 25 years of age
- 2 or more years experience driving tractor-trailers (preferably flatbed)
