Opening in late 2013, this facility primarily manufactures liquefied natural gas (LNG) heat exchangers. Each heat exchanger consists of coil wound tube bundles housed within an aluminum or stainless steel pressure shell, all of which are assembled and welded by skilled employees at the plant.
The heat exchanger is the heart of the LNG process and will be shipped to customers throughout the world. Each heat exchanger takes approximately three years to build and each one is engineered to order.

You would be responsible for the safe testing and inspection of all products manufactured at the site in accordance with policies and procedures, manufacturing methods, and the ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System.
You must be capable of using a combination of standards, codes, procedures and experience in planning, solving problems and making decisions applicable to manufacturing issues related to the fabrication of large, complex, engineered to order pressure vessels and piping systems.

Principal responsibilities of this position include:
1.Performs fundamental in process inspection and testing to verify process control, equipment capability, and product integrity. 2.Responsible for the performance of quality control inspections related to the fabrication of large welded pressure vessels and their internal components. Inspection techniques include but are not limited to visual, dimensional, dye penetrant, x-ray radiography, conventional ultrasonics, automated ultrasonics including phased array and TOFD techniques, visual weld inspection, pneumatic pressure testing, and magnetic partial inspection.
3.Responsible for planning inspection techniques, locating inspection points, determining sample sizes, applying gauging principles and producing Inspection & test Plans and Inspection records.
4.Performs goods receiving inspection and certification review of purchased items. (Experience with SAP would be a plus but not necessary)
5.The incumbent could have responsibility for the Gage Control, inventory, replacement program, measurement capability, accuracy, calibration, frequencies, and traceability.
6.Assist the Inspection Supervisor in assigning and training inspection, test and other personnel.
7.Participates in Continuous Improvement activities aimed at improving the facilities production and QC efficiencies.

Has direct responsibility for performing standard tests on mineral aggregates to monitor quality of product being supplied to the customers and that said products meet state DOT and other related specifications. Must ensure that equipment is in proper working order prior to test and the test is conducted according to standard procedures.

The employee shall have computer skills and the ability to properly utilize the Aggqc database for monitoring and tracking aggregate quality. Must attend and pass all required PennDot training programs related to their specific job. Need to understand/ execute basic weigh master responsibilities.
Must be able to understand both verbal and written instructions. Should be able to complete the test report forms and should be able to understand and complete the basic arithmetic required by the test methods.
Should be able to properly communicate quality problems to operations supervisory personnel. At times interacts and communicates with customers. Must have the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, sales and customers.
0 -2 years experience performing standard tests on soils and mineral aggregates in a qualified testing laboratory.
Must possess an average or above average ability to perform arithmetic calculations at the level of a high school graduate. Must possess the ability to learn how to perform tests on aggregates with minimum training.
Must be able to follow standard outlined procedures (such as those published by the American Society for Testing and Materials and various State Departments of Transportation), reduce test data, and report results to the Area Technical Services Supervisor and appropriate operations personnel. Must be computer literate and experienced in using spreadsheet software to calculate/reduce test results and to prepare test reports. Must be physically able to handle samples weighing up to 75 lbs. each.
High School graduation or its equivalent is required.
License: A valid drivers license is required.
