EFI is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Inkjet Solutions group in our Manchester, NH facility.
The Quality control technician is responsible for ensuring that all quality requirements for incoming vendor material and completed printers leaving the facility are met.
Perform receipt inspection and first article inspection of vendor material using internal drawings, schematics and quality inspections tools. Material to be inspected includes sheet metal, machined parts, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and purchased sub-assemblies from contract manufacturers.
Perform acceptance inspection based on established criteria for completed printers focusing on fit, finish and operations
Identify trends in both supplier and finished goods quality and work with the Quality Control Supervisor, Quality Engineers and Production Supervisors to develop and implement a plan of corrective actions.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering to identify stock that does not meet quality standards and remove that stock from the supply system
Use the information from blueprints and technical drawings to develop a thorough understanding of part dimensions and features
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment
1 year of previous inspector experience
Working knowledge of dimensional inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
SAP experience a plus.
Previous exposure to Lean/Six Sigma principles a plus

This position will be filled either in Anchorage or Juneau, depending on the location of the selected applicant.
The Eligibility Quality Control Technician I (EQCT I) performs a comprehensive analysis of case records and computer data, including interviews with the client and others who may verify the required eligibility information. The case audits, and the report of findings are highly detailed. This process is closely regulated and monitored by Federal Agencies and State of Alaska Legislative audit.
This position audits the State of Alaska, Division of Public Assistance Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, Alaska Temporary Assistance Program, Adult Public Assistance, Medicaid, MAGI, and Child Care Assistance cases for accuracy of eligibility determinations and payment of benefits. This position requires a thorough understanding of the above listed programs' eligibility and payment policies.
This position may conduct audits of other Public Assistance Programs as required by the Division or the Quality Assessment unit needs.
Relying on strong interview and written communication skills, using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access, the EQCT I will provide written narratives documenting the findings of their audits. The EQCT I will submit their findings into a Federal Database for approval.

Or: 1. An AA or AS technology degree dealing with instrumentation, computers, or electronics, or 30 college level semester units in instrumentation, computers or electronics.
2.Two years of full-time experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of industrial instrumentation, control or communication system components involving the application of physical, chemical and electronic principles, at least one year of which shall have dealt with the maintenance of digital equipment.
Education Substitution: Additional qualifying education in instrumentation, computers, or electronics may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the general experience on the basis that three (3) semester units equal one (1) month of experience.
Note: The word "experience" referenced in the minimum qualifications means full-time paid experience unless the minimum qualification states that volunteer experience is acceptable. Part-time paid experience may be accumulated and pro-rated to meet the total experience requirements.

The Quality Control Technician will be an integral part in maintaining the overall quality and reliability of our spas through the testing, inspection and troubleshooting of products at various stages of first article and the production process.
IS THIS YOU?
Are you quality-minded? You will select and test products for aspects such as dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical or chemical characteristics. You'll also perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics that help us ensure that we are manufacturing top quality products.
Can you analyze data? You will compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain the integrity of our products. From this data, you'll work with engineers to identify trends using various analytic tools.
Can you draw conclusions? You will record test data and apply statistical quality control procedures, making recommendations to the senior quality engineer for quality improvements through changes in product or test methodology. You will also evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Can you interpret drawings? You will need to read drawings (blueprints), schematic diagrams or formulas and confer directly with senior engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. You'll also make recommendations for drawing/specification changes with Design Engineers.
Are you organized and detail-oriented? You will put your skills to use as a key contributor to the first article inspection process. You'll interact directly with the new product introduction team members on the status of first articles, identifying issues and providing potential solutions.
Have you worked with manufacturing systems? You will primarily work within our Navision Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to update inspection code status of incoming parts.
WHAT YOU NEED
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training related to this position is required. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Proficiency using MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Access.
Ability to pass a basic blueprint knowledge test and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Must be able to prepare reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary. Experience working in an ERP system is helpful.
Must have strong organization skills, be detail-oriented and able to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers or higher-level executives.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
Strong ability to work in a team environment.

Quality Control Technician
Brief Job Summary: This position inspects product and determines #1 quality per customer specification.
Inspect product and determine #1 quality
Pull and grade inbound samples
Pull and ship outbound samples for customers
Continuous Quality Control checks on the Production and Specialty Packaging lines
Provide feedback to machine operators when product does not meet required customer specification
Schedule and release rail cars
Match inbound receivers with paperwork
Check weight on inbound railcars
Verify Quality Retention Customer (QRC) Product
Accurately complete all required paperwork
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage through conflict
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Good computer/data entry skills
Flexibility and willingness to work overtime and adjust schedule when necessary
Occasional lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs
Occasional climbing ladders and stairs.
Walk, stand, sit, crawl, kneel, climb up to 9 hrs per day.
Exposure to dust and loud noises.
Personal protective equipment, safety glasses, hearing protection, hair net and other food safety related items, is required.
