Company located by Bloomington Hills is looking for hard working, reliable and motivated people. Bottling experience is a PLUS but not required. Full-time if the employee has good work ethics, follows guidelines and meet requirements. Must be flexible with shift. Must be able to stand for long periods, good hand eye coordination, follow rules and listens to directions, must have flexibility with hours to start early in the morning. Good Hand/eye coordination, attention to detail, good attitude and good personal hygiene as they work with bottling food products.
Work includes putting caps on bottle, labeling, quality control to ensure product meets standards, boxing and packaging bottles. Some positions will require clean room suite and clean guidelines. Must have reliable transportation to and from job.

Bottling Line Operator
Position: Line Operator
The Line Operator is responsible for ensuring that all proper materials are available and on the line in an organized manner. Ensuring that all components of the line are set-up properly and that all necessary line workers are in position and aware of their individual responsibilities and following all of the PPE requirements. Completes the paperwork necessary for start-up and verifies with QC tech that liquid is approved and released by lab before production begins. Must be aware of the different components on the line and how they operate and be able to communicate intelligently with mechanics to explain issues/problems. Must know how to trouble shoot the various pieces of equipment but understand that fixing them is the responsibility of the mechanics. Needs to be able to train new operators and must be able to rotate shifts, work overtime, and weekends when necessary. Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
· Responsible for all line components’ change over and set-up
· Must check daily production schedule to determine necessary materials for each production run
· Ensure labels are correct and are applied within specifications
· Ensure that label inspection system is working properly at all times
· Maintain cleanliness and order on the line. If line is down for any reason ensure the crew is busy cleaning the line.
· Ensure all machine guards are in place for safe operation of all line components
· Must perform minor adjustments on the line to ensure proper labeling, filling, and packing
· Work with mechanics on any issue that needs to be corrected
· Work with QC if there is an issue or question regarding liquid, fill height, proper labeling, and or case and bottle coding
· Ensure all unused materials are neatly collected and stored properly at the end of each production run
· Ensure proper wash down and wash out of all line components between products and at the end of the day
· Attend all pre-shift meetings with their line crew
· Must be able to communicate with and manage their line crew. Must ensure they have proper crewing at all times
· Must work closely with floor supervisors and be able to communicate clearly any issues or concerns with line components or line crew members
· Proper hygiene is mandatory. Make-up is permitted but fragrances need to be kept to a minimum. Long hair must be worn up and back. No jewelry permitted, except wedding rings and if a wedding ring is worn gloves must be worn over it
· Follow all Personal PE requirements and ensure your line crew does the same
· Ultimately responsible for the workers on the line and for the finished package coming off the line

Our client in the Fort Collins area is currently seeking an assembly line worker for their liquid assembly. This is a temp-to-hire position and the pay is $12/hour. The schedule is day time hours typically 8:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities

WHY IS THE ROLE IMPORTANT: As a member of the Bottling Department, the Bottling Team Member (BTM) is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the production operation in all areas of the department. The BTM works to ensure Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to and organizational goals are met. Each employee will have the capability and flexibility to run each piece of equipment and every line, and perform any role within the Bottling Department.
KEY OUTPUTS: Operate all equipment rinsers, fillers, crowners, seamers, in-line blending system, labeler, packer, sealer, etc. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with safety, sanitation, quality and housekeeping rules.
Perform machine and equipment line changeovers for different bottles, packaging, and liquid. Perform equipment maintenance and preventative tasks as assigned. Perform equipment lubrication and inspection routines as assigned.
Adjust photo eyes and other electromechanical devices necessary for proper machine operation. Input downtime and other relevant machine performance data into performance database. Perform machine center-lining functions.
Clean machinery to maintain optimum machine performance.
This may include using tools to scrape, wipe, sweep, and squeegee. Troubleshoot machinery to maintain optimum machine performance.
This may include clearing jams, adjusting/resetting equipment, removing glue/labels, etc. Repair substandard packages. This may include relabeling bottles, restacking boxes on pallets, etc.
Loading equipment and packaging supplies. Use various lab equipment to perform quality checks. Interpret, follow, and execute product quality specifications, inspection and testing.
Ability to learn and have working knowledge of SAP. This includes writing and closing out work orders and PM’s in the system. Support programs to prevent accidents, prevent spills, eliminate waste in production, recycle, improve production, conserve materials and supplies, improve quality, demonstrate good manufacturing practice, and uphold Diageo values, code of conduct, policies, procedures and terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Exhibit a positive attitude and work with co-workers in a team based environment to achieve production goals. Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP), perform tasks per the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and Daily Sanitation Schedule, and follow general housekeeping and rules for Food Safety Regulations. This includes maintaining 5S requirements in work Documented improvement in the Key Focus areas of the role. Regularly push, pull or lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR: An engaged, mechanically inclined individual who is willing to work as a team in a high-volume manufacturing environment. An individual that has prior experience with or demonstrates the ability and desire to operate high speed bottling/packaging equipment, load raw materials, perform equipment troubleshooting, conduct preventative maintenance, quality control inspections, line sanitation, and data recording.
Candidates must exhibit a continuous improvement mind set and behaviours. Candidates must also demonstrate behaviours of professionalism, teamwork and leadership.
Able to distinguish the difference in numeric and alphabetic sequences. Material handing experience. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel – Experience in SAP is a plus.
