Wireline Cased Hole Pump Down Operator - Bryan College Station, TX
We are hiring several Wireline Operators with a CDL that either live locally or can relocate in or around our Bryan College Station location.
This location is responsible for vertical daylight work (logging and mechanical) with some pumpdown work.
Responsible for performing wireline services on oil and gas wells under the direct supervision of a field service Operations Engineer.
Rig up/rig down of wireline and pressure control equipment.
Drives company vehicles and equipment: wireline trucks, cranes, pick-up truck, pick-up trucks with trailers.
Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, & equipment. Troubleshoot tools, equipment, and truck problems. Redress tools in the shop and in the field.
Perform wireline cable tests and re-heads, tool preventative maintenance & calibration, tension and depth system calibration.
Maintain equipment, facilities and work locations in a presentable and working condition.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Pioneer.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

The Operator has obtained the necessary skills and knowledge in order to safely perform a variety of basic Wireline services. The expectation at this level is to perform tasks without direct supervision and with the occasional assistance of others. Duties and responsibilities include driving, servicing and maintaining tools and equipment, and assisting the Field Engineer with well site operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully complete the learning plan for Level 2 Wireline Cased Hole Field Operator. The learning plan includes on-the-job training under the supervision of a mentor, formal training, and utilization of Weatherford online training and documentation.
Utilize Wireline documentation and other online training systems.
Prepare tools and equipment, and complete paperwork requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Wireline operations policies & procedures, which include Radiation, Ballistics, Pressure Control, rig up, and preventative maintenance.
Perform tasks associated with a typical Wireline job, which include planning and preparation, load-out and backload, rigging, clean-up and basic maintenance of tools, equipment and Wireline units.
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to assist basic wireline services at the location, which may include tools and equipment in some or all of the following technology groups: Auxiliary & Conveyance, Casing Integrity, Acquisition & Software, Fleet & Surface Support, Nuclear- Porosity/Lithology, Plugback Services, Perforation and Pipe Recovery, Production Logging,
Perform Wireline cable tests and re-heads, and preventative maintenance.
Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform various Wireline functions including winch operation, basic depth control, and tension.
Drive Weatherford vehicles as required to perform the job.
Maintain equipment, facilities and work locations in a presentable and working condition.
Maintain up-to-date practices and promptly report issues, hazards and best practices to the supervisor.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Responsible for the day to day maintenance and operations of tractors, pumping, sand, blending, and other operational equipment. Level of equipment operator depends on time with the company and previous experience in the field. Must be able to perform pre and post trip inspections.

Operation of pumps, blinding units, hydration unit, chemical unit, sand, and line equipment including iron, valves and well heads, and equipment including but not limited to those associated with cementing and water transfer.
Drive equipment over from yard and to site in all types of road and weather conditions. Includes interstate highways, county roads, and some off road situations.
