2Nd Press Operator - KBA / Bottom 12-Hour Shift (38441)
Operation of presses in various degrees of size and complexity in order to obtain maximum production according to established quality standards.
Ensures that production goals are met.
Directs or assists in directing the crew.
Obtains and maintains register during the make-ready and productions processes.
Assists in changing required plates, blankets or cylinders.
Assists in lining up ribbons, setting fold, adjusting roll mechanisms, tension and guide devices.
Assists with training of new crewmembers.
Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Previous experience in the operation of a printing press or work in a printing environment preferred. Some experience in the operation of various hand tools including line gauge, loupe, plate wrench, blanket wrench, brush gauge, ink knife, chisel and punch preferred.

The position is extremely labor intensive and will require one to work around extreme heat; to work at heights; to lift up to 55 pounds on a frequent basis; to work on uneven surfaces, and to be proficient in the use of hand tools. The ability to use computers is required.
Applicants must be able to work a 21-turn rotating schedule (including weekends and holidays), be able to work overtime and up to 12 hours per day. Remote crane experience and forklift experience is preferred. Will be required to submit to a criminal background investigation.

and meet quality standards. Make sure all insert packages are checked and correct.rect packaging staff. Based upon knowledge of individual employees' skills and abilities, use your independent judgment to place employees in positions,
adjust their positions, and otherwise assign the employees to produce the best quality
- Setting up and running all insert machines used in the assembly of the finished
product. Alert the packaging supervisory team to any major system problems so they may be addressed quickly.
Get all products loaded and to the dock on time.
Must be able to run all equipment in the mailroom.
