POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the AVP of Quality/Risk Mangement, is
responsible to provide supprot in assuring regulatory complaince and
collecting data for hospital performance improvement programs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A. Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Utah. Maintains current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
B. Education: BSN preferred
C. Experience: See Department specific requirements
D. Special Qualifications:
Successfully completes general nursing and unit orientation. Effective communication skills; both orally and written. Computer skills needed. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
Strong problem solving skills. Good customer service skills.

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible to provide skilled, effective and appropriate nutrition care to assigned patients, assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutrition care plans, monitors response to therapeutic diet/support, and participates in patient and staff education. He/ She follows departmental policies and procedures to provide nutrition care in a timely manner.
He/ She also communicates with patients and families, medical staff, nursing staff and other health care professionals to assure patient care needs are met. Stays current on all documentation and charting for patient care.
A. Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: Current registration from the American Dietetic Association (CDR), Utah State Dietician license, Davis County Food Handler's Permit, and Healthcare Provider CPR.
B. Education: A B.S., B.A. or Master's degree from an accredited college or
University in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
C. Special Qualifications:
The Clinical Dietitian is required to have skills and knowledge in the following areas of practice: Nutrition Support, OB/GYN, Cardiology,
General Medicine, Oncology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Skilled Nursing Facility needs. Need excellent written and oral communication skills.
Data Scientist - Operations
Overview
The customer experience team is looking for an outstanding data scientist to join its growing data science organization. This person will play a central role in one of our company's most highly visible departments, pulling insights from the data warehouse to guide strategic decisions of c-level executives and shape the way that we serve our customers.
The incumbent will work closely with the director of the operations analytics team, customer service center leadership, and a variety of cross-functional teams to retain and provide exceptional service to our clients. They will do so as part a data science team working on a range of compelling projects, such as recommendation engines and customer segmentations to increase productivity of call centers. The successful candidate will use their creativity and curiosity to make meaningful contributions across these efforts.
Key to their success will be the ability to pull data using tools such as SQL or mySQL; build models in R, Python, or Spark; and work with IT resources to first test, then deploy their models. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a range of analytical techniques, from machine learning (e.g., support vector machines, extreme gradient boost, random forest) to simple t-tests and power analyses.
Responsibilities
Help design and deliver long term analytics projects: finding answers to business problems, implementing a solution, and tracking downstream effectiveness.
Communicate effectively with peers on the operations analytics team, internal clients, and company leadership regarding ongoing projects and future possibilities.
Carry out ad-hoc data extracts and analyses as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science/Analysis or related program plus 1-3 years of experience or an advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) with 0-1 years of experience.
Fluent in English verbal/written language
Experienced professional presenter to stakeholders at all levels
Intermediate or higher proficiency using SQL
Intermediate or higher proficiency using R (preferred) or other language related to statistical analysis (SAS, Spark, STATA, etc.), data management (e.g., Hadoop, SQL), and/or basic computing such as C++, Java, Julia, or Python.
Attention to detail and overarching curiosity are both essential.
Willingness to learn new quantitative techniques and programming languages.
