About the role:
Primary focus is to build quality product by following processes to meet all production goals.
Your responsibilities include:

Builds product by following all processes in which certified (in their most current revision), and completes other assigned work, while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.

Under the direction of other maintains accurate records such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Shop Floor Paperwork (SFP), Training Records System (TRS), Product Data Management (PDM), Systems Application & Products (SAP) and Process Equipment Optimization (PEO).
Moderate mechanical aptitude. Able to learn how to set-up equipment to meet process specifications.
Under the direction of others interprets quality specifications via SPC; understands tight tolerance through the use of various measurement equipment.
Assist and learn to take ownership and accountability to drive metrics by actively participating in Focused Factory cross-functional teams.
Understands and follows all BSC and site specific policies and procedures.
Responsible for attending and passing all core required BSC and site specific training (i.e. QS Basics, RTK, Lean Training, and Extrusion 101).
Demonstrate an understanding of the basic functions of SAP.
Demonstrate an understanding of the basic functions of MES.
Learns to plan and prepare the equipment to meet the customer's requirements.
Provide Continuous Improvement suggestions.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES This position assists in operating, maintaining and troubleshooting extruders, blenders, cutters, pullers, water baths, and various extrusion equipment. Operations are performed per written SOPs, including CGMP guidelines. Process Machine Operator I
This position is responsible for processing a variety of soy based liquid products through written and verbal instructions. Insures the quality and efficiency standards are being met through reduced scrap loss and yield improvements. Follows all GMP and PPE requirements for the safety of others and oneself. Effectively communicates verbal and written information relevant to the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate process set-up of production, CIP and sanitizing a variety of mixing and processing equipment to be completed in a timely manner. Maximizes the quality of products produced and the efficiency of the department.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Perform routine maintenance as directed on all the process equipment. This includes but not limited to: valves, replacing "o" rings, homogenizer packing and oil, air lines, sterile air filters and gaskets. Document in written form parts needed to be ordered.
Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required
Perform a variety of quality checks to assure standards are met
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
Accurately prepares and maintains all area paperwork
Fill and drain Tower water in the correct sequence and turning on the fans.
Verify steam and air pressure gauges as it relates to the process and their importance.
Be able to adjust the steam valve for the steam injector as required.
Understanding of the flow process for both processors and surge tanks.

Reports all accidents to the production supervisor or H.R. representative.
