The CNC Press Brake Operator will be responsible for set up and operation of various pieces of forming equipment and for proper record keeping of operations using an ERP system.

What You'll Do
Reads blueprints to understand required specifications.
Loads, installs and correctly sets up and adjusts press brake to meet required specifications such as dimension and degrees of the brake by choosing proper die.
Brakes various metals, such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel and galvanized steel.
Uses measurement and hand tools to complete work.
Safely operates forklift and/or bridge crane to move product as required.
Reports basic materials, production and quality control issues to supervisor.
Conducts preventative maintenance at the operator level.
Performs assigned work to time standards and TCF quality standards.

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 6+ months' experience (1 year preferred) and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Vocational technical school preferred.

Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication and hydraulic press operations, including basic set up, is desired.

In this position, you'll be leading the global development for DTNA of anti-lock braking systems and brake controls on electric vehicles. This involves developing the new features required to integrate electric-motor and foundation braking in combination, and advanced controls to ensure top performance and efficiency.
Lead the global development for DTNA anti-lock braking systems for air brake and electronic brake controls on electric vehicles. Function as the expert on EBS at DTNA with brake blending, integrating advanced e-motor regenerative braking with foundation brakes.
Develop detailed requirements for features, systems, and components in electric truck braking systems. Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, IT, Purchasing, and other departments to collect and execute design and project requirements.

CNC Press Brake Operator
