Job OverviewUnder general supervision and guidance from Automation Team Leads, Shift Supervisors, and Technicians the Automation Machine Tender supports the operation of the Automation equipment. The machine tender is responsible to start and stop the equipment and tend to routine equipment alarms and faults. The Automation Machine Tender is very aware of safety procedures and strictly adheres to all safety, manufacturing, Quality and Continuous Improvement policies and procedures. The work performed is fast paced requiring movement from station to station for the majority of hours worked. Firm or fine grasping or manipulation with both hands is required. Performs quality assurance analysis during machine operation to prevent defective product from being produced and potentially reach the end user. Supports the Water Spiders daily with ensuring material flow and material traceability remain in control at all time. Main Responsibilities
Start and stop the equipment and tend to routine equipment alarms and faults
Maintain and follow 6S (Workplace Organization Standards).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Procedures, and other regulatory requirements at all times.
Work in a fast-paced environment communicating and interacting with automated equipment and other team members during the work period
Produce product that meets quality expectations
General cleaning as needed: Keep equipment clean and free of misc. parts, empty trash, clean work area daily, clean shop equipment, sweep, mop, wipe down area
Perform Water Spider duties and support other water spiders with material handling and work order change overs
Supports the automation technicians to ensure targets for safety, quality and productivity are met or exceeded
Must be a team player with strong communication skills
Works in a team environment with all levels of the organization
Attend daily production meetings and shift hand off meetings to ensure good communication and pass downs
A high level of engagement is expected; this means that Machine Tenders are expected to work on improving themselves by working on training applicable to their position.
Engagement on 7 steps, and improvement events is expected so that the Machine Tender can provide input to implement containment actions and countermeasures to resolve quality, or process issues.
May be asked to perform other tasks as required.
Education- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is requred.
Minimum of six months of related manufacturing experience
Must be able to read, speak, and write English and be able to perform basic math functions
Must be able to carry products weighing 25 to 40 lbs on an occasional basis.

- Performs typical progressive die and press operations
- Setup and remove tooling
- Observe press in operation and make adjustments to control rate of production

I. Job Summary
Safely operates an automated side loader truck to perform assigned duties on residential routes
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
Notifies Dispatch or Route Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.
Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.

Handles technical and commercial Insides Sales and Customer Service functions for assigned account responsibilities which include direct customers, distributors and resellers. Has obtained or can demonstrate a minimum Level II Competency in all relevant areas (i.e. SAP S&D module and core products)
Has a working or intermediate knowledge of fiscal measurement principles, technologies, applications and industry standards
Has a minimum level II competency of SAP or related MRP system and uses said knowledge effectively, making sure that all information required for order entry and quote preparation is entered accurate and timely
Can support colleagues to answer technical product, application and SAP related questions to assist in completion of daily tasks
Ensures orders are entered into SAP with correct information including correct amount, billing details, required documentation, end destination, market segment, and all the other fields that are required for order processing and data collection
Responsible for compiling complex tender and order documents, working with internal and external resources to coordinating information and ensure customer specifications are thoroughly reviewed and subsequent quotations/orders are completed in accordance with customer specifications, documenting and relaying any required deviations
Communicates proactively with sales personnel, customers, distributors, and end users to understand and meet customer's requirements for the quotes/proposals that are produced. This may include but is not limited to such communication as missing requirements, requesting additional information, providing cost/margin calculations to TFMC sales, lead times, etc.
Develops and maintains a professional relationship and acts as a key contact for assigned customer
Prepares BCQ forms, and quotation approval documents ensuring the correct authorization and signature workflow is respected, and keeps them in the individual order and proposal records
Follows all applicable company policies and procedures.
B.S. in related field Degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering/ Technology or other technical field or equivalent commercial experience.
Experience in related functions like applications, inside sales, engineering, project management or manufacturing (in oil and gas industry preferred).
Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes and exposure to cost accounting principles in order to understand key cost drivers for assigned product lines.
Detail oriented, analytical with ability to determine customer applications needs. Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SAP Business System (or experience with other ERP system).
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills (technical writing skills is a plus).
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a changing, fast-paced work environment.
