Turret/Press Break Operator
Job Title: Turret/Press Break Operator
Type of Job: Full time, trail to hire.
Hours: 7am to Done. Monday through Friday
Pay: $17 to $21 and hour, depending on qualifications.
Transportation: This position is not located on a bus line. Applicant must have their own personal, reliable transportation.
Atlas Staffing INC. is currently partnering with a local leading Metal Machine Shop providing full range of services from conception to completion. They are currently seeking an experience sheet metal Turret/Press break Operator. Must be able to read blueprints, work independently, and be a self-starter. Abe to cope with busy work schedules while distinguishing and balancing priorities.
Ideal applicant would be hard working and dedicated, with high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Experience: Must have pervious sheet metal experience in working with Turret & Press Break. Proficient at reading mechanical, metric and standard Blueprints. Previous set up, operations, tolling and inspection experience. Ability to operate a forklift.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer and caliper.
Language Ability: Must read and speak English. The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision and Depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk and lift the entire shift.

Description To safely transfer quality product at a high rate of speed from the plants mixing and distribution system, to the customers preferred packaging. Sets up and assembles line for production run. Fill each container to the correct customer specifications, I.E. weight, bottle coding, labels, correct case coding.
Train all other line support on complete line functions Communication and shift handoff to oncoming operator Maintains operational sanitation. Maintains documentation of production output. Perform quality control checks on proper placement of lids, closure of bags, wrapping, weights, codes, and case inspections.

Description Press brake operator will produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into material. Press brake operators will look at blueprints or plans for the finished product, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. Operator will make sure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. Operator will look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
