Responsibilities and Qualifications
Job Summary The Distribution Lead position oversees the work of a group of employees within a department/area while performing many of the same work duties as that group. Oversee the work to ensure that it is proceeding on schedule and meeting established quality standards.
Oversee the work and safety practices of DC Operations employees to meet Company needs; communicate department policies and procedures; train, coach, motivate, schedule work hours; provide input to employee evaluations, and support planning for future staffing and training needs
Receives departmental work assignments from Supervisor.
Assists in establishing and assigning work priorities within the department/area.
Trains department work group in required safe and correct work procedures and performance expectations following work instructions and operating procedures.

Orders necessary supplies, tools, etc. for the department/area.
Refers all job discipline and non-routine issues to the Department Supervisor.
Maintains machinery/equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and schedules.
Operates and uses all equipment following standard work instructions and operating procedures.
Attend line-lead meetings.
Dock receives invoices to pick and pull orders then shrink wrap them, what product goes onto trucks and what merchandise to put to stock, return merchandise to stock, make adjustments and make movements into inventory on paperwork.
Drives forklift to battery charger, places charge cables to battery, removes charge cables from battery on forklift.
Maintain confidentiality of employee, discipline, production and related information.
Provide ongoing communication liaison to employee and supervisor covering operations matters, policy and procedures.
Advise Supervisor of quality, ongoing, or unusual problems.

Job Title Tufting - Creeler Operator 3rd Shift Position Overview To maintain a constant supply of yarn to the creel. Assist and/or relieve operator as needed and at break times.

Manually dig to place and/or remove low voltage telephone cables, de-energized powercables, conduit, and pedestals. 3. Load and deliver plastic conduit, hole hog digging equipment, large water pumps, cable spools, and drilling equipment. 4. Landscape area disturbed when digging up phone lines. 5.
Break up concrete and asphalt using a jackhammer. Lift and remove concrete and asphalt pieces. 6. Rake hot asphalt on the paving crew. 7.
Drive motor vehicles. 8. Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Shift start time: 0700 End time:1530 Break Schedule (incl.Lunch):30 minute lunch and 2-10 minute breaks Total work time:420 minutes Total rest time:50 minutes Equipment/Tools: Maxi plow, jack hammer, jumping jack, hole hog, roto hammer, cut-off saw, portable water pump, saws-all, pick, shovel, rake, sledge hammer, pipe wrench, wirecutters, boltcutters, cable cutters, 7'lengths of 2" black steel drilling shafts, and personal protective equipment (boots, hard hat, gloves, vest, hearing protection, and rain wear as needed). Handled materials , parts and other items: Cable ranging in size from 4 pair to 3600 pair, 90lb bags of concrete, plastic cable conduit 4" diameter x 20' long, 50lb bags of bore gel, 60lbs bags of cold mix and telephone pedestals.
Physical requirements of the position:
Mobility * Sitting is required 1-3 hours per day and typically doesn't exceed 60 minutes consecutively when driving or during breaks. Exceptions occur when traveling to outlying coastal areas and other office locations.
Standing is required 5-7hours per day and up to 2-3 hours consecutively on asphalt, concrete, gravel, and dirt surfaces. Workers frequently stand on uneven terrain.
Most work requires both standing and walking throughout the workday. Continuous walking is generally limited to less than 20 minutes consecutively and performed occasionally throughout workday. There may be some instances where continuous walking is performed frequently.
