Position: Hourly $31.24 / hr
SCOPE OF POSITION
The purpose of the Operator Breaker is to operate both plants in a safe, lawful and efficient manner. This includes but is not limited to shutdown, startup, process control, acid transfers. The operator will perform maintenance and reliability duties as scheduled. The incumbent is required to work rotating shift schedules.

When not needed for Operations duties, perform plant maintenance consistent with training and abilities. This includes filling in for Rail Unloader/Loader vacancies.

High School Graduate or equivalent education preferred.
Four years of general maintenance and repair experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Ability to communicate with courtesy and tact when furnishing or obtaining information from both fellow workers, supervisors and other departments.
Must have an understanding of units of measure and weight and perform conversions. Good math and diagnostic skills to detect and evaluate critical situations.
Works under direction and follows established procedures on most duties. Makes some decisions but refers most problems to Supervisor.
Windows Operating System and MS Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel Programs. Plant Distributed Control System (DCS) for plant operations.
Must have a valid Stationary Engineer's License.
Must be able to operate heavy machinery such as trackmobile and forklift.
Must possess excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines.

TNC Breaker Main Duties
TNC Breaker primary duties are to:
Povide all TNC staff with breaks based on a schedule
Direct Uber and Lyft Drivers to the designated waiting area
Wear reflective safety vests before starting TNC job
.• TNC Controllers MUST be stationed in the safe areas assigned by supervisors, away from the flow of traffic.
Be polite yet assertive when dealing with drivers to ensure the parking exit paths are clear for non-TNC vehicles.
Direct Traffic in the TNC reserved areas at each of the Airport Terminals that TNC vehicles are allowed to pick-up their customers.
Make sure that TNC vehicles pull up to the front open space in order to keep the traffic at a continuous flow
.• Engage in short conversations with both the TNC drivers and customers on where to park and pick-up customers.
Provide information regarding the traffic and pick up areas to the passengers/TNC Drivers if needed.
Refrain from assisting passengers with luggage or any personal belongings. Our primary objective is to direct traffic in the TNC areas.
TNC controllers are PROHIBITED from wearing any earpieces or headsets that may impair their hearing while traffic directing.
In case of a large traffic build up in the TNC Area, immediately inform the supervisor to provide assistance.• In Case of an outraged customer or driver, DO NOT confront them. Instead, reach out to the Sheriffs for assistance. If there are no Sheriffs present, write down the License Plate of the vehicle for reporting. • Do Not sit down when performing your duty(s) at TNC dedicated areas.• Do not place your chairs near the garage wall where children can climb.

Power Product & Solutions - Circut Breaker Shop Technician
Does the idea of being part of an elite team of technicians responsible for testing, maintaining and repairing electrical distribution systems up to 35 kV sound exciting to you? Troubleshoot, rebuild, retrofit, test, and repair various types of circuit breakers, contactors, and other electrical distribution equipment in shop type environment.
Provide remote technical assistance to internal and external customers

Summary Description of Position
Primary duties, 50% or greater, include the operation of off-highway equipment within the facility. Operation of pit loader to load raw or finished products into off-road haul trucks. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is primarily responsible for project leadership involving testing and component failure analysis at Exelon PowerLabs Coatesville, PA facility. Specifically, this position performs as a Electrical Engineering Project lead for oversight of component testing and failure analysis investigations for Exelon and commercial customers of Exelon PowerLabs. A Maintenance Worker is a position in the facilities department providing high quality and effective work that provides quick response to immediate issues and supports experienced personnel in the execution of their tasks related to Columbia University-Manhattanville Campus (CUMVC) equipment, services, and systems. A Maintenance worker crosses over all departments in engineering and operations to provide the immediate response to emergent issues, work orders, and work alongside other staff in the various trades, or under their direction, with the overhauling, maintenance, and repair of the various systems, services and equipment that comprise the CUMVC. Independently or under limited/minimal supervision and/or direction; operate, inspect/round, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery in good workmanlike manner while maintaining a high level of safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Must demonstrate minimum professional proficiency in the English Language; as defined by the U.S. Department of State.

Responsible for obtaining and maintaining other applicable NYC Certificates of Fitness as required by the FDNY and/or other authorities having jurisdiction.
Must be capable of performing fire brigade duties as assigned.

Respond to various calls throughout the CUMVC relating to minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and general maintenance issues.
Assist all facilities staff to ensure duties are being carried out efficiently and accurately.
Perform general maintenance, repair, and inspection of campus equipment and systems under limited or no supervision, direction, or oversight.
Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks and servicing of equipment and systems, involving and/or assisting other trades in this process.
Perform work tasks, report deficiencies, and maintain and complete daily records of labor and materials used during work tasks via the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Maintain completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of the work and work orders.
Continually and urgently communicate with supervisor regarding any apparent operational deficiencies or system malfunctions.
Work with other disciplines and management to proactively solve complex, multi-discipline problems.
Must perform any duties assigned in an emergency as determined by management.
Attend and participate in all departmental trainings and meetings.
Attend and complete relevant on‐the‐job training as required.
Must attend all assigned educational classes and labs, both internal and external, as part of the Development Program. Classes will be assigned based on availability and individual progression, therefore, can be any time of day and any day of the week.

Minor general maintenance and repairs: replace motor/fan belts, change out filters, replace or install insulation and wrapping, flush and clean strainers, repair and/or replace automatic shading systems.
HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repairs: read and interpret pressure, temperature, humidity gauges, respond to comfort calls, clean grills and diffusers, adjust local thermostats, check fan coil operation, check and interpret pressure differentials across coils and filters, and understand various pressure relationships.
Accompany and/or assist facilities staff, project leaders, consultants and contractors as directed or assigned.
