Attention to detail and pride in quality is essential so you can take the effort required to paint and produce quality results. Painting takes place in vented paint booth. Would need to be able to wear a respirator and perform all duties associated with painting.
Must communicate well to understand what is required on each project and know what areas need taped off, what needs special attention, etc. Operate Bistronic BySpeed 3015 6000 Watt Laser. Note: We have a laser manager that will do quoting, AutoCAD drawings, and nest the parts using Sigmanest.
You will be the one actually operating and cutting parts. Operate laser by running programs as they are provided to you. Training will be provided as to what to look for and how to operate machine but person will need to be efficient in use of computers to effectively operate the controls and have a strong work ethic to keep up with loading and unload the machine.
Use overhead crane and air suction lifter to load and unload plates. Help in HWMI sheet metal dept and fab depts. as required. Help bend parts in sheet metal dept.
Help debur and prep parts for fabrication as required. Please list any other skillis which may include: Any other applicable experiences.
Knowledge in other areas of shop i machining, fabrication, sheet metal. Valid Driver's license to make deliveries if needed. Physical Demands could include but are not absolutely required: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. / maneuver 100lbs (to load and unload parts / palletize cut parts). Must be able to work on feet during entire shift outside of breaks and stretching (if overseeing assembly and projects). Must be able to be seated during entire shift outside of breaks and stretching (if drafting large projects and doing desk work, etc.)
