Responsibilities will include:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop orders and tooling instructions.
Lift workpieces manually or with hoists to position and secure in fixture.
Install broach or ram using wrenches and shims.
Move controls to set depth of cut and ram speed to to start ram.
Control coolant or lubricant levels.
Verify conformance of broached workpieces using gages, micrometers and calipers.
Changes broaching using handtools
At least two years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in metals machining
Competency in using various hand tools and measuring devices
Able to read and speak English well enough to understand instructions and to communicate effectively
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work 11PM - 7:30 AM

Machine Operator Production (Ft/Rotating Shifts)

Position operates one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment. This may include moving raw material handling to the production line, and/or filling, capping, sealing, labeling or packaging product. Removes damaged products or supplies, as needed. Position responsible for production, package, and flavor changeovers. Maintains required product inspection processes. Performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.
Position requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over a long work period. This worker operates an aseptic cup-filling machine and pasteurizing equipment. The worker must keep the machine supplied with the raw ingredients and packaging materials needed to produce product. Cleaning and sterilizing of the filling machine is required as well as all other processing equipment (Surge tanks and UHT). This operator has first responsibility for the quality of the product coming off his/her line.

Under the direction of production management, this position works to perform a variety of operational functions that constitute the production, inspection and distribution of products or services for our customers.

Place the proper pieces of boxes together, using filament tape, before pushing the completed carton out to the warehouse operator.
Using department guidelines, load all barrier/TBG rolls onto unwind stand.

Operates specialized machines such as door router, stair router, welder, plate cutter, table saws, planer jointer and component cutter necessary to perform such operations as routing, boring, ripsawing, cross cutting, beveling, grooving, and mitering of lumber or woodstock.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus one-year (1) prior work experience and in millwork, construction or lumber industries and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six-monhts (6) prior work xperience on machines. Ability to demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and understanding of products and components used for mill production is essential.
