Machine Set Up Operator / Roll-Form Operator, 2018-94
Summary: Under direct supervision, will learn andperform tasks including but not limited to assisting in setting up tools, dies,and equipment for production of material as specified by work orders,blueprints and diagrams. Load and unloadparts on roll machines. Makes minoradjustments and performs coil and line changeovers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Successfully completes 3 months orientation onthe roll forming process including roll mill set-up and preset, roll millmaintenance and cleaning, coil changes & welding, routing & packagingprocedures, measuring instruments, and basic roll line set up.
Uses knowledge of manufacturing software andlabel software to ensure production needs are is accurately identified andrecorded.
Will assist with loading and unloading thematerials from the equipment while using guarding, cranes, bundling materials,and material moving equipment.
Successfully completes 9 to 15 months basictraining on shop floor safety, roll mill set-up and preset, roll millmaintenance and cleaning, coil changes & welding, routing & packagingprocedures, measuring instruments, and basic roll line set up.
Under direct supervision, will safely set-up theroll line and produce roll-formed parts while using blueprints and set-up drawings.
Follow all established safety guidelines andOSHA requirements; wear required PPEs.
Follows all established safety guidelines andproduction procedures, including those for ISO-9000:2008
Maintain a clean and safe work environment bypracticing basic shop housekeeping.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Program.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Broaching Operator at our facility in Barberton, Ohio. The Broaching Operator will operate the broaching machine to broach tube supports, tube sheets, strainer plates and similar products of ferritic and austenitic materials.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Set up work station and operate broaching machine to broach external surfaces of metal work pieces.
Align machine with work pieces, insert broaching tools and activate machine pulling tools through components broaching openings to specifications/requirements.
Perform in-process inspection on work to determine quality standards are met and detects machine out-of-tolerance conditions; escalates out-of-tolerance conditions to the team lead and assists with corrections.
Change worn broach tooling, clean machine, and perform setup on new broach tooling.
Clean machine work area, components, and pit.
Deburrs and grinds as required.
Operate crane and assist with crane moves.
Minimum Qualifications:

Set Up Operator
POSITION SUMMARY:
Set up, trouble-shoot problems, change and adjust tooling and machines to meet blue print specifications, production and quality standards and to assure safe operations. Train other employees to operate machine correctly and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work without direct supervision but perform as a team member in order to respond to other employees and supervisor's requests and assist other employees as needed.
Handle all materials and tools and have operating knowledge of all machines. Employee must be able to perform preventive maintenance, set up and make changes adjustments to tooling and machines plant- wide to assure the capability of meeting production and quality standards and operate safely.
Identify problems and apply effective problem – solving skills and mechanical ability to take corrective action.
Use Lean principles, Quick Change Technology, Total Productive Maintenance, Cell Design, and 5S as a tool to help our plant run more efficiently.
Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work instructions.

Set Up Operator A 2Nd Shift
SUMMARY
Perform a wide variety of set-up duties to install, maintain and troubleshoot injection/ blow mold machinery to ensure the quality manufacture of new, existing and custom molded products.
What You'll Do:
Install molds; set up the machine pressures, process temperatures, mold heaters, cooling lines, thermolator lines, cycle times, materials, set up chutes, conveyors, fixtures and cooling jigs.
Maintain molds in the injection/blow mold departments including cleaning, assembling, sandblasting, and greasing under the direction of the IM Tooling Coordinators.
Sort, count, and inspect parts as necessary to maintain quality and quantity standards within department specifications.
Run prototype parts of new and custom molded products until the product and procedures are approved for manufacturing.
Troubleshoot machine processes; adjust pressures, heat, and air; replace nuts and bolts, airlines, water lines, and checks barrel heats. Responsible for contacting Maintenance (IMC or Facility) with machine breakdowns and issues.
Oversee the quality of all the products produced in blow mold/injection molding. Measure, weigh and perform final inspection for all products using blueprints, scales, calipers and height gauges.
Maintain Kanban system as necessary to ensure proper function
Maintain established quality and quantity standards. Follow prescribed safety precautions, established company and department policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and questionable conditions to proper supervision. Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
Maintain daily production and other records as required.
Perform other related duties as required or directed
Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

The Operator must understand the mixing of active solution vessels, premixes & all raw material bases for products produced.
Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients that are processed in a mix room.
Solve daily operations problems with limited supervision.
Actively maintain good housekeeping standards in their assigned area

A minimum of one plus years of production plant experience is preferred.

Able to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/ rainy weather, lift 50 pounds, and be able to climb ladders and work on their feet for the entire day.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Machine parts which have multiple features.
- Operate a variety of machine types or multiple non-complex machines at a time.
- Maintain an existing process which would include but not limited to: offset machine tools, change tooling as required, load material.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure that product quality and specifications are achieved.
- Inspect completed work independently using advanced measurement / inspection tools.
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
- Monitor SPC data / trends to ensure process control.
