Bundle Shop Lead
Manufacture and repair of custom shell and tube heat exchangers for the refining and petrochemical industry.
The Bundle Shop Lead directs personnel in the testing and assembly of components, bundles and heat exchangers (including new equipment and repairs).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Bundle Shop manager deliver work assignments and related instructions to associates, as well as plan and monitor work processes and production flow.
Direct employees by ensuring adherence to performance standards, recognizing accomplishments, and offering performance coaching.
Produce results by communicating job requirements, monitoring progress, and providing on-the-job training.
Report personnel issues to department manager, and assist in implementing remedial actions consistent with company policies.
Coordinate across shop operations and functional groups to stage material for production requirements.
Assures ongoing and consistent compliance throughout the department by adhering to all safety rules and methods, and avoiding all unsafe practices.
Ensures proper layout and cutting of baffles, and for the structural welding of bundles (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW) per engineered drawings.
Direct the assembly of bundle skeletons, hanging of tube sheets, and installation and rolling of tubes.
Direct hydrostatic testing, installation of bundles into shells, and loading of completed units onto transportation platforms (flatbed truck, train, shipping, etcetera)
Perform duties as assigned by department manager.
5 years of experience with the manufacturing of shell and tube exchangers or a closely related industry that would directly lend itself to the individual being successful in the custom engineered heat exchanger fabrication environment. Related industry experience could include pressure vessels, boilers or similar equipment.
Supervisory experience required.
Experience with ASME Pressure Vessel Code, TEMA and/or API is a definite plus.
High school diploma, knowledge of metals, production and fabrication knowledge, 1st class boilermaker rating, preferred.
Possess strong employee service and relationship skills.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Excel & Word.

Bundle Clinical Coordinator
This RN provides assessment, screening and ongoing review of the clinical course for all patients identified as appropriate for, and agreeing to participate in employers to hospital risk based contracts. Conduct various regular and special electrical tests on all types of circuit breakers, switchgear and associated components.
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, to confirm the integrity of product operations, identifying root cause for discrepancies and performance failures. Set up and use test boards and instruments including ammeter, voltmeter, wattmeter, oscilloscope, ohmmeter, and other similar metering and recording apparatus. Make necessary connections; operate breakers, switchgear and use low and high voltage equipment to test resistance, heat and dielectric factors, load, timing, and similar performance characteristics.
Will also be required to utilize personal computer and/or computerized technology such as in testing product and/or related recordkeeping. Verify completeness, location and proper functioning of all instruments, meters and other components. Check equipment and interpret proper electrical-mechanical clearances.
Conduct special tests under direction of engineering personnel. Conduct final tests on regular line breakers and test special or rarely encountered breakers following established practices. Make necessary calculations.
Read and interpret complex drawings, schematic diagrams, specification sheets, performance charts, test standards and other procedures. Check function of controls, relays, indicators, and other electrical features and make adjustments as necessary. Check and adjust calibration.
Reject defective breakers and switchgear; prepare and test reports and keep required records. Troubleshoot circuit breakers, switchgear and other related components to the sub-assembly and/or root-cause level. Work with and instruct testers and other assembly personnel to insure that preliminary and routine tests are carried out correctly; verify changes and explain new procedures.
Occasionally make up or repair test boards. Qualifications Under general guidance of supervisor, perform a variety of complex operations to test the electrical and mechanical characteristics of circuit breakers and switchgear, and all related parts and assemblies.
This position requires an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics; or Technical Trade School formal certification or equivalent.
