DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for taking completed sets from packaging stations and packing/stacking them according to packaging engineering specifications. Responsible for maintaining an accurate count of sets produced. Completes corresponding move ticket and delivers finished sets to Distribution's receiving stations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Takes completed production and packs/stacks them according to specification.
Inspects sealing, labeling and /or printing of boxes.
Completes move tickets and attaches them to the loads.
Delivers loads to the Distribution Center. If the load needs to be placed on the take-away tram, he/she performs the check-in procedure for Move.
Moves parts by using a hand-operated, non-powered truck.
Identifies and corrects routine machine problems.
Follows the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the work instructions; and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports quality problems and shuts down the equipment if unable to resolve.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Follows EHS rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and CBT, and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports personal injuries and unsafe conditions and helps to resolve them.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Ability to read and write and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
Ability to read and understand procedures, work instructions, safety rules and warning signs.
Can identify non-conforming product (quality and quantity).

Seasonal Archery Instructor - Seasonal Recreation Program Instructor
The Town of Cary is seeking an archery instructor to lead summer camp archery program within Bond Park.
The instructor will teach the basic techniques of archery, including steps to shooting, range safety, archery games, techniques, and bow anatomy. Age groups of each session will vary.
Groups will be either ages 6-10 or 11-17. Sessions will be a mixture between 1 hour taster archery classes and week long archery camps.
The schedule will include archery specific summer camps, outdoor skills camps, and Bond Park day camp programs. The archery instructor will work a maximum of 40-hours per week, but actual hours will vary depending upon class schedules. Programs will mainly be Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm.
Work is performed under the regular supervision of the Bond Park Program Specialist - Outdoor Recreation.
Anticipated Hiring Range - $12 to $17 per hour depending upon experience and certifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals archery range and the safe operation of an archery range;
Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public;
Requires the physical ability to prepare archery range for lessons;
Must be able to work outside in typical inclement weather, such as summer heat or rain showers.
Requires: the ability to deal with the public in a firm but tactful manner; ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships with others; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and ability to acquire knowledge of policies, procedures and services of the facility, division and department.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old;
Requires experience in teaching archery in a group setting;
Prefers experience in teaching the 6 - 17 year-old age group;

Prefers USA Archery, National Field Archery Association or equivalent instructor certification;
Prefers CPR and/or First Aid certification, or if not currently certified, the instructor will be required to obtain certification upon hire;

Merit Medical's employee garden was established in 2016 at Merit's South Jordan campus. The mission of the garden is to provide gardening space, food access/education, and to boost employee morale. This position will assist the Garden Manager in multiple aspects of the garden program, including garden preparation, crop production, planting, general garden upkeep. The garden area includes 82 garden boxes, an orchard, a commercial greenhouse, and a ½ acre of vegetable production. Roughly 200 Merit employees participate in the garden program, with many others that attend workshops and plant sales. This is a part-time (25-30 hours/week) employment opportunity.
Note: Although this is a seasonal position for 3-6 months, there is the potential for year-round employment, with decreased hours through the winter.
