Reads work order and observes and listens to truck in operation to determine malfunction/diagnose problem(s)
Offers solutions to meet customer specifications ; provides estimates when appropriate.
Makes mechanical repairs to equipment after a complete inspection and analysis of breakdown has been completed.
Records complete repair description on work order, including correct model and serial number of equipment and record hour meter reading.
Obtains signature from customer and communicates with customer on repair needs, or work that was completed.
Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and makes adjustments.
Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications.
Represents Equipment Depot to customers. Maintains professional image of self and cleanliness (externally and internally) of van at all times.
Tracks and schedules with operations, or service manager when service van is due for routine maintenance or has other service-related issues.
Works in a manner that protects customers, Equipment Depot, and the public.
Returns paperwork to field service coordinator daily. Includes work orders, fuel receipts, sublet invoices, etc.
Submits time cards by 9:00 a.m. daily. If technician is dispatched to a job from home, time must be called in and given to service administrator over the telephone by 9:00 a.m. daily.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One to Three months related experience and/or training – and/or combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of internet software.
Certificates & Licenses: Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Barnes Aerospace Windsor Division is seeking an energetic and detail oriented individual to perform a variety of burring operations on aircraft parts. Perform a variety of duties to burr and break edges on aircraft engine parts according to instructions contained in operation sheets.
Work from operations sheets or instructions from parts coordinator or department supervisor.
As outlined in operations sheets, gather tools and other equipment needed to deburr parts.
Layout abrasives and air guns required for each part or operation. If needed, set-up holding devices such as rotary and hydraulic tables. Use carbide drills, emery cratex and flat wheels, PSA discs, buffing and wire sheets and diamond files according to the operation requirements.
Operate burr guns of different configurations or buffing machines to bring about dimensions required on operations sheets. Prepare first piece and submit along with appropriate documentation to In-Process Inspector. Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, verniers, GO-NOGO gage blocks and pins and visual aides.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area in accordance with 6S principles.
Comply with all safety regulations including wearing required protective equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum of three (3) years' in aerospace or manufacturing environment.
Good mathematical skills.
Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail.
Ability to read operation sheets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools.
Perform various hand-finishing operations Deburr, breaking of sharp edges, and otherwise finishing of production parts to customer required specification.
Verify dimensions and radii, using micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.
Ensure organized and clean work area.
Perform other duties as assigned and necessary.

Eaton located in Euclid, OH has an opening for a 2nd Shift Burr Operator.
Set-up and operate various milling and drilling equipment to generate rough and finish dimensions on a variety of production parts.
Set-up, adjust and operate a variety of hand and/or power equipment to burr, polish, finish and blend surfaces on machined parts.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y14-5 and the certified operator program.
Provide assistance to other operators on proper operational procedures.
Perform 5S and other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Set up, maintain and operate one or more milling machines, drilling machines, broaches, and/or shapers to generate rough and finish cuts on a variety of aircraft engine parts.
Mount, change and align various jigs, fixtures. Equipment consists of power driven abrasive coated belts, strips, bobs, burrs, various hand tools, and disks together with the necessary holding fixtures and adaptors for the various size parts.
Perform polishing; burring, and surface blending operations where finish dimensional, maintenance of contour, and other details are important and care and good judgement must be exercised to avoid damage to adjacent finished surfaces.
Requires knowledge of finish requirements and sufficient dexterity to avoid deep scratches or damage to finished surfaces. Use templates, micrometers, comparators and other appropriate measuring devices to check dimensions and contour.
Visually inspect for defects, check with micrometers, templates, profile gauges, and other precision type devices.
Touch-up and/or replace tooling, adjust stops, select speeds and feeds, and gauge completed work with various precision checking equipment.
Maintain accurate lot control (QCP 6.0) traceability, record keeping, log book entries, NCR's (QCP 11.0) and associated documentation.
Perform part marking.
Generate close tolerance edge breaks using various hand tools.
Maintain clean equipment and work area.
Chart and plot data per SPC requirement.
Move material within the cell.
Perform minor machine maintenance.
Perform more than one operation at a time as directed by the supervisor.
Burr work internal to the cycle as needed.
Perform Power Flush operations.
Perform Rigidax operation.
