Under general direction, the Connector Bus Operator (CBO) operates motor coaches to transport passengers in a safe, efficient and courteous manner. The CBO is responsible for collecting fares and completing necessary inspections and reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates motor coaches subject to departmental rules, regulations, schedules, and local and state traffic regulations, keeping radio dispatcher aware of status and location.
- Maintains professional image and performs duties in courteous, friendly manner emphasizing positive customer relations.
- Inspects and tests vehicle equipment prior to each run to ensure vehicle safety.
- Reports equipment and maintenance problems or concerns to appropriate management personnel.
- Responsible for the safe loading, transport and unloading of passengers.
- Judges best way to route vehicle from place-to-place in demand-responsive service.
- Provides schedule, route, fare, directional and general information to customers.
- Responsible for collecting proper fares, inspecting passes, receiving and issuing transfers.
- Assists passengers, particularly the elder and handicapped persons, in boarding or exiting vehicle as necessary, including operation of wheelchair lift and wheelchair restraints.
- Posts appropriate route and destination signs in vehicle.
- Removes ice, snow and slush from platforms.
- Maintains proper lighting, heating and ventilation on vehicle.
- Responsible for inspecting bulletin board daily for directives, policy and procedure announcements.
- Maintains trip sheets and other forms as required.
- Submits written reports on accidents and may be required to serve as witness regarding same.

To Inspect and Test Bus duct, Low and Medium voltage Motor Control, Low and Medium voltage Switchgear and PCR. To perform these tests if necessary for Powell Customers and/or their representatives during witnessed customer inspections. * Inspect and test all equipment manufactured at Powell facilities. * Interface with shop, engineering, sales, customers and shipping. * Attend department safety and training meetings. * Adhere to all company policies and safety rules. * Record shop discrepancies and shortages. * Record engineering discrepancies. * Complete all test/inspection documentation. * Complete all shipping documentation. * Perform maintenance on assigned test equipment * Review and store all inspection documentation.
* High School Diploma or equivalent * Minimum 0-3 years experience in the industrial electrical field * Basic Knowledge of electrical theory. * Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills. * Familiar with the used of test equipment such as multi meter, clamp-on meter, voltage detector, etc. * Basic computer skills using Word, Excel and Access. * Knowledge of National Electric Code * Able to read and interpret electrical symbols, characters, and drawings. * Ability to apply industry standards as applicable to job and product. * Attend in house and outside training sessions. * Learn policies and procedures, work instruction, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and vendor products. * Perform other related duties as assigned

JOB SUMMARY: Perform inspections on or MMIC product line. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Check testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes.
Carry out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing.
May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing, inspection methods.
Prepare and maintain all necessary paperwork, recording defects, and compliance in accordance with established procedures.
Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 3+ years of inspection experience.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal/written) in English.
Ability to work under limited supervision on tasks that may not be routine.
Must work independently and be comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Substantial understanding of the job and ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete tasks.
Easily adapt to change in the work place. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience inspecting Die / IC devices
