1. Operator reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to prioritize daily work.

3. Completes work orders and other required paperwork as needed to complete production orders.
4. Reviews job specifications and requirements prior to starting each order.
5. Operator loads production data to various personalization machine controllers by following detailed procedures.
6. Changes production supplies as needed to correctly complete production orders on various machines.
7. Analyzes and reports any non-conforming products, supplies, and inventory problems to the production lead, supervisor, or manager.
8. Operator verifies quality on various cards throughout each production order and requests verification from co-workers.

Attaches sling to sleeve and moves sleeve to and from stock, utilizing one hand to operate controls of overhead crane to support and move sleeve, while simultaneously guiding sleeve into position around end of stock with second hand. 3. Positions sleeve on stock by manually pushing or pulling into place. 4. Loosens or tightens sleeve hold down bolts, utilizing Allen wrench and calipers to ensure bar stock is centered inside sleeve while tightening. 5.
Attaches sling to stock and moves stock to and from machine, utilizing one hand to operate controls of overhead crane to support and move stock, while simultaneously guiding stock in position with second hand. 6. Tightens chuck jaws around stock, utilizing 22 inch chuck wrench to manually rotate chuck, and tighten jaws. 7. Raises or lowers steadyrest heads.
D. Operates Machine. 1. Activates controls to move cutting head into position against bar stock. 2. Starts up and operates machine, setting and adjusting speeds and feeds from control panel. 3.
Monitors operation of machine, including checking stock inside diameter with micrometer, bore length with tape measure, chips in coolant exhaust stream, etc. 4. Removes and replaces cutting tools, including adjusting position of drill bar for retooling, utilizing 36 inch pipe wrench to turn bar. E.Other miscellaneous duties as instructed by Supervisor.

Inspecting, repairing and polishing dies requires prolonged sitting and muscular activity of hands and arms. In addition, quenching dies in heat treat requires protective clothing as dies are heated up to 1500 degrees F. Boxes of dies and par stock weigh up to 50 lbs. Proper lifting techniques must be adhered to at all times. Alertness and mental concentration is required because of the nature of the muscular and visual coordination needed to prevent damage to dies. Good eye hand coordination is required for forklift operation.
