Job Summary
This is Operator Trainee position in our Cadmium department. Employees in this position process products for plating. The Operators performs in accordance with Military and OEM specifications. Hours for this position are training Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m.
2:30 p.m. Once training is complete, the hours for this position are Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m.
10:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities
Attention to quality of product
Review customer and Hytek paperwork for instructions
Follow technique card and instructions to process parts
Work closely with higher level operators to complete work and prioritize tasks
Sign off paperwork as required
Keep area clean and organized
Preparation of parts prior to operations
Use tooling and fixtures, when applicable
Knowledge of pre and post cleaning surface finish requirements
Know how to avoid damaging material or equipment
Be familiar with Quality Assurance requirements & rework procedures
Be familiar with engineering drawing notations
Be familiar with the safety precautions & know how to avoid injury to personnel.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to drive positive change in productivity, delivery, and service. Be involved in Kaizen events as needed either as a participant or supporter.
Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
Qualifications
Must be a US Person and able to provide proof of US Person status upon hiring.
Ability to train others
Ability to write technique cards
Ability to use/learn Lean Tools and techniques to solve tactical and strategic problems and issues arising in this position.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

Liquor Store Assistant Manager
Responsibilities
As an employee of Coborn's, Inc., the Liquor Store Assistant Manager assists the Liquor Store Manager by directing and managing all phases of the liquor store operations. Duties include assisting the Liquor Store Director In carrying out store plans and activities.
Performs all aspects of store operations including: bookkeeping, running a cash register, loading and unloading trucks, transporting merchandise, stocking shelves, receiving, pricing products, ordering products, and performing inventory audits. May be responsible for directing staff to include: directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations and supervision.
Qualifications
The Liquor Store Assistant Manager position requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two to three years managerial experience or field experience in the liquor industry is preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shift: 3rd shift (10:30pm–7:00am)
SUMMARY: Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot dies in tool room and punch press. Perform timely and accurate changeovers per production requirements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions as defined by the ADA, except those that begin with the word 'may".)
Perform basic maintenance on existing dies; perform both planned and unplanned work within estimated times
Troubleshoot basic die problems in the tool room and in the press
Perform minor revisions and upgrades to dies
Perform changeovers on dies to satisfy production requirements
Proficient operation of all machines and tools necessary to perform die repair functions
Complete paperwork including daily time cards, opening/closing a work order, completing tool room checklists
Move parts and dies by hand, a hand truck, or a power truck
Follows the Quality Management System requirements in the tool room and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports quality problems and shuts down the equipment if unable to resolve.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Follows EHS rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and CBT, and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports personal injuries and unsafe conditions and helps to resolve them.
Performs related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Successful completion of tool & die apprenticeship program
Knowledge and understanding of stamping dies, die design, construction techniques, maintenance and troubleshooting
Knowledge of punch press equipment and metal forming processes
Ability to perform trigonometric calculations to accomplish the work needed to repair, maintain, build and revise all types of tooling
Knowledge of function and safe operation of tool room machines
Knowledge of basic maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning procedures for tool room machines
Ability to read and interpret part and tool prints. Ability to read and understand press cards, procedures, work instructions, safety rules and warning signs

JOB DUTIES SUMMARY:
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates all machine tools and equipment necessary to make,
alter, or repair a wide variety of complicated tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and
gauges, and performs required bench operations such as die assembling, laying out,
fitting, adjusting, and assembling.
- Lays out work from samples, blueprints, or sketches. Tool Makers select machines and
Make determinations about operation sequences. They make set-ups and selects tooling,
speeds, and feeds, and performs required machine and bench operations.
- Diagnoses and remedies trouble on all machine tooling. Dismantles machine
tooling and replaces worn or defective parts. Makes fixtures for machines where
parts are not standard.
- May require in-press die repair and trouble shooting on progressive, transfer or other die set
design.
- May perform other duties from time to time of assisting maintenance in machine
repair work. Assists and instructs others. Maintains good housekeeping practices
in working area.
- This job will require the performance of other tasks as directed by a supervisor. Other duties may include limited guidance duties (i.e. answering phone, redirecting employee questions, etc.) in the absence of a supervisor

SKILL SUMMARY: Requires a thorough knowledge of shop math, machine and
hand tools, measuring instruments and working properties of various metals. Employees must be thoroughly experienced in the construction, alteration or repair of all tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
Requires a high degree of ability to plan and perform work of a difficult nature where only general methods of procedure are available. Tool & Die Makers must be able to work with only general supervision.
Required Experience
Must have a Journeyman's card or proof of eight years experience in that trade. Equivalent hours of credit will be awarded for Military experience, technical course work as well as technical manufacturing experience such as CNC programming, etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
Assists customers by: (examples include)
escorting them to the products they're looking for
securing products that are out of reach
loading or unloading heavy items
making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests
performing other tasks in every way possible to enhance the shopping experience.

Count load to assure proper quantity. Check invoices against delivered product when asked.
Process merchandise to shelf which includes removing wrap and cutting front out of cases with a box cutter.
Rotates and replenishes merchandise and ensures highest quality standards are met.
Unloads trucks using power pallet jacks and forklift to place product in appropriate storage area.
Conditioning shelves and displays, straightening product and pulling cardboard.
Stock product on top shelf for future use.
Ensures cleanliness in the department cleans off shelves, sweeps the floor, etc.
Builds wall of value and end caps display and fills through the week as necessary.
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Responsible for proper inventory control (pricing, stocking, ordering).
Protects associates and customers by removing potential hazards from the sales floor and parking lot in a timely manner.

Retrieve carts from lot.
Help with cleaning duties.
Assists in other areas of store as needed.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
Must have the ability to solve practical problems.
Ability to do simple addition and subtraction; counting and recording.

Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of less than 20 inches to less than 20 feet, with color vision and depth perception. Must be able to read the descriptions on the boxes and shelf tags to place merchandise in the proper locations.
Must be able to work shifts varying in length and times, including nights, weekends and holidays.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The duties for this position are normally conducted in a store environment. There is significant responsibility to maintain customer service levels and handle multiple priorities. The position involves sharp knives and is occasionally exposed to equipment movement hazards. This is a fast paced work environment.
