Equipment Operator - Press Helper
Trinity Heads, Inc. is searching for an Equipment Operator/Press Helper in our Navasota, TX plant. As an Equipment Operator/Press Helper, you'll operate machines to produce formed shapes to specifications on a production basis.
What you will do:
Operate industrial sized forklifts to load material for processing.
Verify dimensional requirement.
Unload and transfer formed heads to storage areas using an overhead crane or forklift.
Conduct basic measurements and verify tolerances through the utilization of shop math.
Document and maintain required records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
Minimum of 1 year of machine operation experience, such as a press.
Minimum of 2 years' of industrial sized forklift operation experience.
Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
Prior experience working in a steel manufacturing environment.
Press Helper - 2 Positions
This is a 2nd shift position/ hours are 2:00 pm
- 10:30 pm
Assists the press operator in manufacturing parts.Responsible for lifting and moving parts in and out of ovens and press area.
Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude: (But not limited to the following)
Checks press to ensure goodworking condition and ensures correct set-up of dies.
Keeps press area clean.
Keeps tools and burners intheir proper place.
Reads Work Orderspecifications and forge instructions before each run.
Makes sure furnace, partsand die temperature are to Work Order specifications.
Notifies press operator ofany problems with press, furnace, tools, Work Order, etc.
Responsible for followingpress schedule, set-up and finding and loading parts in furnace.
Ability to put stock or parton press die for operator to spray (lubricate).
Support and ensurecompliance to ISO 9002/AS9100
Support andmaintain Quality Policy. Maintain 5 "S" standard
Must work withhot inspectors and press operator to ensure good part quality
Must contributeto a positive work environment.
Qualifications and Abilities
Must possess basic readingskills, for reading Work Order specifications.
Must possess ability tocount.
Must possess basic writingskills to complete Work Order and for S.P.C. chart recording.
Ability to input basicinformation in system. (Clock in, out, and F-2)
Ability to obtain forkliftcertification.
Experience and Education
High School Education preferredbut not required
Ability to read and write in Englishpreferred

Major Responsibilities• Assist in basic tasks of setups (cleaning bolster, organizing end of press) completing housekeeping within setups, assist with basic tasks as directed.\r
Lift, move, stack, pack and visually monitor parts through an established process.\r
