Cake Maker/Production Person
Gelato Paradiso in Fashion Island is looking for a Part Time/On Call Gelato Cake Maker! We need someone to come in a few times a week to make our made-to-order gelato cakes. The cakes usually take a few hours but some weeks we only have one or two cakes orders, while others we might have 6-7 cakes to make, especially around Valentine's Day and major holidays. You would work closely with the production manager to make sure these cakes are done on time. We need someone who is willing to pitch in at the front of the house, occasionally open the store during the week and make gelato as well. Because the hours vary based on how many cakes need to be made, steady hours cannot be guaranteed so we would prefer someone who lives close to Fashion Island with some extra time on their hands and is looking to make some extra money. We provide training but are looking for someone with an artistic side for decorating. Hours are flexible but sometimes you will need to work weekends as long as you can make the cakes before they are to be picked up or delivered. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we look forward to talking to you!
