Overview One of the largest HVAC filter manufacturers in North America is seeking a Hi Loft Line Operator to support overall production operations. The Operator will properly fill out all related paperwork, and calculate square footage, percentages and add-up waste and production related to the shift’s performance. Responsibilities
Production line start up and changeover
Assist with getting web started through line
Bag all open fiber
Feed and accompany fiber through line
Prepare roll-up area for production
Check operation of rolls
Check operation of hot wire/cut off
Check operation of yardage counter
Manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures
Check the width of the material at least 2X/doff.
Constantly check for defects such as dirt, streaks, holes, color variation thickness, coning, etc.
Constantly monitor length counter to determine correct length of each roll.
Confirm length accuracy off line
Place correct label and close bag with wire tie.
Weigh every bag for adherence to specified bag weight.
Load material for warehouse personnel on carts.
Keep roll-up clean and free from obstructions.
Assist in keeping waste material baled.
Clean all liquid spills immediately.
Downtime and end of shift
Clean the floor area of side trim, loose fiber, and seconds.
Clean fiber room roll-up aprons, shafts, and sprockets.
Clean exterior of guards and machines.
Clean fiber room floor aprons, needle tacker and Rando aprons.
Clean spray station aprons.
Clean cat walks and under all machine
Clean the floor on the entire length of both sides of the line.
Wash all handrails, guards, and Plexiglas.
Able to communicate and understand written and spoken English.
High school diploma or equivalent desired.
Manufacturing experience desired
Basic Computer Skills
Able to work overtime on short notice, as needed.
Able to perform tasks safely while wearing required personal protective equipment.
May require standing for long periods of time.

The Morrison Group is looking for a full-time Press Operator to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in its Print Production Facility in Edmond Oklahoma. Duties may include file aggregation for press (via software aggregation), Press Operation, Basic Press Maintenance, and Press Room upkeep.

The primary focus of this position is to setup and run the roll form machine to safely make high quality parts for our customers. Will be accountable for safely meeting daily production goals, quality requirements, and performing preventative maintenance. Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs tooling setups and line changeover on roll form machines to produce roll form cross sections to specifications and ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Test run new roll form tooling to generate sample parts, strong knowledge of roll form tooling and ability to evaluate and generate improvement opportunities to tooling process.
Performs equipment adjustments necessary to maintain dimensional tolerances of cross sections being produced.
Sets up and operates machines to produce specified components. Makes machine adjustments to ensure satisfactory production.
Performs basic daily autonomous maintenance functions to maximize machine efficiency and longevity.
Handle raw material with overhead crane and load roll forming machine with raw material (when needed).
Determine condition of tools (schedule for rework when necessary)
Trains other employees with roll form operation and support functions.
Work with the production team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Uphold all safety policies and procedures. Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must have a mechanical aptitude and machine skill acquired through a trade school or related on the job experience.
Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and perform quality inspections

Must have basic knowledge of measuring devices such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, tape measures and other related instruments.

The Plate Roll Operator’s primary responsibilities is rolling steel plate of varying size and thickness. This position reports to the Shop Foreman.
