Calender / Press Machine Operator - All Shifts
The Press Operator along with Plant 1 Press Lead or Shift Supervisor make up the normal two man crew required to operate the presses that vulcanize the uncured rubber coated fabric, in a timed heat pressure cure, to produce conveyor belting.
Responsibilities will include compliance to safety procedures for machine operation and ensuring all the press and tooling safety devices are properly used.
The Operator must follow all the production schedule instructions, the proper press operational procedures and the production order Bill of Material requirements. Operator must have the ability to read measuring tools, drive a fork lift and complete all the required paperwork. Candidate attributes will include a strong attention to detail to ensure production of a high quality product.
Calendering is the first step in our Production process and has the most influence on the cost of our products. Continuous improvement is a must for all personnel in this area.
Change over for calender machines and identification of the most effective way to keep the machines running at all times.
Operation of machines and immediate reporting of any problems or issues to your Department Head or Supervisor using the proper channels and methods of communication.
To complete daily production reporting accurately. This includes all reports relating to Productivity, QC Holds, Material Usage, Material Movements, etc.
Follow all safety, corporate, and internal policies and procedures and requesting clarification from Department Head or Supervisor when necessary.
Daily contribution to the continuous improvement of yourself, your department, and your company as a whole. This can relate to increasing your knowledge on work orders, products, and processes.
Contributing to your work area by improving Safety, Quality, Productivity, the cost of our products, etc. Proactively getting involved in trainings both internally and externally. Candidate attributes will include a strong attention to detail to ensure production of a high quality product.

Job Title: PRESS BRAKE/ROLL OPERATOR
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Reports To: Foreman
Shift: Swing 3:30pm- 11:30pm
- Produce parts operating press brake or roll machine, per company and contract specifications and dimensions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSABILITIES:
Responsible for machine set-up and operation.
Operate hydraulic or mechanical brakes, maintain same, and keep in good working order. Must know capacity and limitations.
Fabricate parts per specifications utilizing Press Brake or Roll machines. Understand where parts will fit in production and accurately bend, roll, etc. to measurements.

As a member of the press crew, the Press Assistant I (Roll Tender) has previous experience as a Press Asst. II (stacker/jogger) and is able to perform the duties of both positions and may be asked to do so from time to time. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understanding standard operating procedures of the department
Manage the paper supply inventory on the press and feed rolls into the press
Coordinate plates and tickets for upcoming jobs and hang paper according to job tickets
Set up and make splices, bend and hang plates as well as hang blankets and assist with webbing up press
Ensure correct ink is available for job and check ink fountains regularly
Set fold during make-readies and check trim sheets to proof and complete necessary roll reports and paperwork accurately
Communicate effectively with plate room and paper warehouse and coordinate changing of ink, etch, and silicone totes as needed
Wash up the press and assist with preventative maintenance.
Candidates must have prior press experience as Press Assistant II (Jogger)
Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of presses and roll stands and the ability to perform basic math calculations are essential.
Good verbal and written comprehension skills are a must.
Must be able to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
This position also requires the ability to bend and lift 50 pounds continuously, ability to lift up to 90 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously and use vision in order to identify defects, performing repetitious tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Follows established ISO Roll press specific operator procedures and other procedures essential for producing conforming roll label product.
Follows instructions on the job ticket and related blueprint to accurately produce product.
Verifies accuracy of the blueprint in comparison to the job ticket to ensure product is produced correct.
Verifies accuracy of part number and rev. level, materials, tooling, inks, and any other items relevant and essential to producing conforming roll product.
Ensures quality check sign off is received before processing the job.
After product is produced, performs quality assessment checking for conforming and non-conforming material and product. Routes the ticket and any product produced (conforming and non-conforming) to the next station assigned.

Roll Form Operator
Assigned to the Welding / Beveling department; candidate must maintain a high level of productivity and safety awareness while working as part of a team to produce customer assemblies.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Fabricating and welding products to the drawings and production voucher specifications using the correct materials and to the appropriate welding procedures.
The Candidate must be able to select the proper sequence of fitting and welding to meet the specifications of the quality program and due dates as assigned.
Candidate must post inspect welded assemblies produced to insure tolerances; maintaining high quality results; also completing the appropriate quality documentation and production voucher information.
The Candidate will be required to flame/plasma bevel precision parts to customer drawings and tolerances, prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Our successful team members are self-starters who can work independently without direct supervision. Sets up and operates flexographic printing press to print designs on rolls of flexible plastic film by performing the following duties. Accountable and ultimately responsible for the quality and quantity of material produced and all related documentation.
