Responsible for the accurate treatment, simulation, and dosimetry of patients undergoing ionizing radiation treatment in accordance with standards of practice.
Administers prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using Linear Accelerator Equipment according to the established practices and Standards.
Performs dosimetric calculations under the supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, using either manual or computerized dose calculations.
Assists with Brachytherapy procedures.
Warms up treatment machines/simulator and checks all safety and operational procedures; reports any erratic operation to the physicist

Verifies dose through barometer and thermometer measurements; reports any discrepancies to physicist.

Perform test equipmentcalibration tasks; perform initial calibration for the first of a family ofelectronic test equipment to establish acceptance standards to be followed insubsequent calibrations.

Ensure the maintenanceand calibration of laboratory standards and coordinate activities related topurchased calibration services.

Prepare survey racks andstands to perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys to include: cutting andwelding thermocouple wire to the required length(s) and affixing them to thecorrect positions on the survey rack / stand(s) in accordance with qualityprocedures.
Perform TemperatureUniformity Surveys test using a Portable Survey Data logger Field TestInstrument mobile computer.
Upload the TemperatureUniformity Survey results to the network system for proper review andacceptance by the Quality personnel in order to release the furnace back toproduction following the performance of Temperature Uniformity Survey or SystemAccuracy Test.
Calibrate furnacecontrol instruments such as the temperature chart recorders, temperaturecontrollers and the over limit controllers.
Create the certificationof calibration for each instrument and affix calibration sticker that showscalibration date and due date in accordance with quality procedures.

As a Metrology A Technician, you will perform required operations to calibrated and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and dimensional measuring and test equipment. This is what your day will look like…
Perform viscosity tests on various hydraulic oils.
Perform in-lab and on-site calibration of various hydraulic and pneumatic pressure indicators.
Perform calibration of various flow measuring devices using standard flow turbine or cylinders.
Calibrate Moog Hydraulic calibration transfer standards using master flow and pressure systems.
Process data and generate reports using common or specified applications in Moog computer systems.
Work from drawings, calibration procedures, Moog specifications, manufacturers' instructions and applicable Military Specifications.
Inspect and calibrate special purpose tools and fixtures used for acceptance of Moog products.
Observe and report the condition and serviceability as well as proper calibration of all equipment being withdrawn or removed from the Calibration Labs.
Operate company vehicles or handcarts for transporting equipment and performing on-site calibration and/or maintenance in all weather conditions.

Torque Security Calibration Engineer

What You'll Do: The Torque Security Calibration Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and validating vehicle-based calibrations that achieve world-class torque security calibrations for both spark ignited engines and electrical powertrain systems. The Engineer will plan, generate, and verify feature calibrations in hot climate, cold climate, and high altitude in accordance with powertrain system functional objectives along with generating reports to communicate the status of the program to the larger team. The Engineer will manipulate and utilize large and complex sets of engine mapping data to analyze and solve complex system problems as they relate to functional safety, engine performance, fuel consumption, emissions, OBD, and base engine calibration development. He/she will work cross-functionally with engine development, powertrain controls, and vehicle teams to identify and implement calibration solutions that achieve program requirements. The candidate should expect to travel 4-6 weeks throughout the year for system validation/verification.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree
Minimum of five (5) years prior vehicle calibration experience of spark ignition engines and/or electrical powertrains
Fundamental knowledge of internal combustion engines and powertrain calibration
Working knowledge of calibration tools (INCA /ATI), emissions regulations, and powertrain technologies.
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including PowerPoint presentations to upper management
Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Experience in engine development, powertrain systems development /engine calibration /control systems development/diagnostics within the automotive industry
Calibration process knowledge using design of experiments and advanced optimization techniques
Proficient in advanced simulation tools
Proficient in Matlab / Simulink
