Major responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Coordinates and drafts revisions of batch related documents, including batch records and SOPs.
Good understanding of the operating principles for most processing equipment. Solid knowledge of the engineering and scientific principles associated with their areas of responsibility. Understands the primary design principles for the facility (e.g. air pressure differentials, material flow, people flow, utility systems). Basic understanding of the roles of other functional groups within the company. Particularly knowledgeable on safety and GMP principles.

The AFFF Blender / Filler reports to the B18/AFFF Supervisor. The Blender / Fillers are responsible for blending and filling various types of foam and specialty chemical products according to prescribed procedures. This role assumes direct process responsibility for blending as well as insuring the performance of equipment including filling machines, material handling equipment and miscellaneous other tools are operating to the required specifications. The Blender / Filler follows' the workflow process and assists the supervisor or group leader to efficiently coordinate other personnel in the blending and filling operations. The Blender / Filler is required to assist Supervisors, Group leaders, Quality assurance, Material planning and Engineering personnel when requested or on their own.

9.Must understand the set-up and operation of weigh scales in production and filling operations.
10. Works closely with Quality Control Inspection/Engineering and Chemicals Lab personnel to assure proper product consistencies/quality and chemical usage.
11. Under the direction of the Supervisor or group leader coordinates workload/vacation scheduling to assure production and product deliveries are met.
12. Must be aware and responsible for abiding with Government contract specifications whenever Government work is performed.
13. Must use judgment and knowledge when receiving and storing incoming raw materials.

Must be Jabil-certified in at least three machines (screen printer, HSP, GSM, or Fuji) used by Jabil. Must be Jabil-certified in QC and Solder.

Inserts parts on circuit boards according to visual aids. Replenishes stock or parts at workstation.
Individual will be required to stand 100% of the time. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 40 lbs. regularly required, as is twisting and bending. Individual must be able to work overtime as required.

- Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Inspects in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards. Determines acceptance or rejection of product by reading blueprints, engineering change notices or established operating procedures.
- Inspects the accuracy of machine and manual placement of parts along with their solderability. Performs first article checks as required to ensure all components are placed correctly, have the correct polarity and match the Bill-of-Materials description. Repairs defects in line and enters defect data into MES system.
Audits material kits to ensure correct material is available, reports scrap and maintains clean and organized work area.
Actively participates in team activities and projects, communicates effectively to team, attends team meetings and displays a high level of teamwork and integrity
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Minimum of two years of related experience or equivalent training required.
Advanced reading, writing and math skills required (i.e., 12th grade level).
Basic PC skills required (i.e., keyboarding, mouse usage, Windows usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows).
Jabil QC, Solder and Machine Operator Certifications must be achieved and maintained.
Prior knowledge of electronics component identification, proper handling, packaging media and placement techniques is required.
Prior experience with surface mount technology gear (Universal and/or Fuji) preferred but not required.
Individual will be required to stand 100% of the time.
Individual's main work stations are located in the manufacturing area.
The noise level in the work environment is normally low to moderate.
The individual may be exposed to machinery with moving parts and high temperature surfaces.
Some exposure to low dust/dirt and chemical fumes may be expected.
The individual may be required to wear a ventilation mask and protective clothing.
Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 40 lbs. is regularly required.
Bending and twisting is occasionally required.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for observation of finished products, PC monitor, reading drawings, prints, visual aids and other documents.
Good manual dexterity required for use of PC keyboard, process equipment and testers.
