What You Will Do
This position will be filled at the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspector 4 level. The successful candidate(s) will perform the following duties in this position:
Perform moderate to highly-complex inspections on various machined components and assemblies against acceptance criteria or to meet principal-investigator requirements.
Perform in-process quality control and inspection in accordance with statistical processes and other control procedures.

What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience in metrology and inspections operations.
Advanced demonstrated experience performing set up, alignments, maintenance, operations, and/or calibration of conventional inspection tools and/or equipment.
Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience interpreting and applying GD&T technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience using and interpreting, engineering blueprints, sketches, specifications, and related data to assist in the evaluation of design factors, and conducting operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement and follow detailed procedures as well as work instructions.
Four (4) years of extensive previous directly-relevant work experience.
DOE Order 426.2 requires a High School Diploma (or GED) and 1 year of job related experience.
Demonstrated experience in researching, specifying, and selecting measurement and test equipment.
Experience in programming (CMMs), optical and/or vision systems for part inspection using metrology software packages such as Calypso, Quindos, PC-DMIS, or other related software.

Construction Inspector II - TE AMI Project Inspector

This position will have a duration of 2 years.
Under general supervision, to perform a variety of skilled field and office work involved in the installation of AMI meters. The Inspector position will directly observe all aspects of the meter installations by making pre and post inspections of the install.
This position exercises no supervision.
Examples of Duties
Inspect residential, commercial, and industrial meter installations.

Experience and Training Guidelines:

Review all packing specifications prior to the start of your shift, and/or the start of a new job. Perform required hourly checks, including but not limited to – visual and hourly stack count check. Inspect thermoformed parts for visual defects, prior to packaging in keeping with customer and Bemis specifications.
Report any malformed, damaged, defective parts to the thermoformer operator, or assistant. Replace any non-standard parts with good parts within each stack. Place parts/sheet material in proper containers for regrinding.
Assist in keeping the thermoforming area clean. Clean chopper, packing area, and thermoforming area during thermoformer changeovers, 6S, and all other activities as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Sort thermoformed parts as directed by supervisor or Quality Assurance.
Perform needed product spec tests, as directed by supervisor. Assist on machine change over and make readies as directed by operator, lead operator, or management. Perform any task as directed by supervisor or his/her designee to support plant operations.
Proper hand-sanitation is required when re-entering the packing area. Be familiar with audit processes, tool boards, machine boards, check sheets, etc. Comply with all policies and procedures, e.g., work rules, quality, GMP, GFSI, etc.
