Assists Pullet Supervisor in placing mature pullets on hen farms.
Vaccinates and medicates flocks as prescribed.
Takes monthly inventory of birds on farms.
Attends workshops and seminars relating to breeder flock management and hatching egg production.
Supervises construction of new and repair of old hen farm facilities.
Makes records of and reports as required of medications used, weights, inventories, farm conditions, egg production and other items relating to hen farms or flocks.
Sends or takes diseased birds and feed samples to diagnostic labs as necessary.

Maintains company animal welfare program as it pertains to breeders.
