Principal Accountabilities (list in order of importance and indicate percentage of time spent on each) 1.
Follow all established safety protocols (LOTO, Work at Height, etc.) and wear required PPE 2. Starts and prepares the filler machine. Observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. 3.
Performs minor machine adjustments or repairs such as releveling the vision system 4. Performs operations of machines, including troubleshooting, cleanup, setup, quality control, and waste control 5. Performs all required quality/ food safety checks, for example temperature checks, seal checks, weight checks, code checks, etc. 6.
Inspects filled containers and bags to ensure product is filled to specifications to ensure food safety and other quality aspects 7. Replenishes filling supplies such as cups and film. 8. Follows department escalation to ensure all major incidents are dealt with promptly 9.
Ensures that all data collection is captured accurately, for example, accurately capture weight and waste tracking. 10. Performs all quality and food safety checks, such as data sheet checks and ensures completion of data sheet 11. Organizes and maintains all tools and scales 12.
Works with team towards meeting filling metrics to drive goals and sustainability of the teams, this to be done through resource alignment, planning ahead for changeovers, looking ahead to optimize the schedule, empowering the teams to drive communication and tight tracking of loss through each process order 13.
