Automated Filling Machine Operator (3Rd Shift)

We are looking for 3rd (11:00pm-7:30am) shift operators to run our automated production lines which include robotics, HMI screens, conveyors, automated packaging equipment, etc.
Under minimal supervision, the Filling Machine Operator will safely run machines to fill, mark, label, band and wrap containers with toner products and materials. These operators will also perform product changeovers, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs on assigned equipment within a designated filling room.
Qualified candidates will possess
At least 2 years of experience operating liquid or powder filling machines or operating automated production equipment (i.e. robotics, HMI screens, automated packaging equipment).
Technical training or demonstrated mechanical capability to solve mechanical and operational issues on assigned equipment.
Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Speak and read English

Tends process, which fills, caps containers in preparation of product shipment either domestically or internationally. Reports to Shift Supervisor and follows instruction from either the direct Supervisor, Group Lead Operator, or designate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Replenishes packaging supplies: daubers, caps, labels, ink, etc.

Inspects filled containers to insure product is packed to specifications
Manually moves dauber attached can caps to dispenser and verifies proper dauber insertion.
Ensures each filled can is date stamps/markers are production ready with correct lot number, expiration date.
Insures auxiliary equipment (labeler, capmatic and filler) are production ready at all times.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or manager

Encapsulation Machine Operator
Under the direction of the Supervisor and Lead Hand, the Encapsulation Operator is responsible for all activities related to the encapsulation of the two-piece hard shell capsule product as per Master Ingredient List (MIL) document by adhering to the Work Procedures (WPs), the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) that are in effect to ensure the quality and quantity of product produced. The Basic Machine Operator I or II - Urgent Care supports urgent care offices with patient x-ray services. Assists physicians with patient examination, procedures and treatment.

Float Team: This Full Time position will require travel to satellite locations providing own transportation (submitted, approved mileage reimbursable) throughout Hillsborough and Polk County.

Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent. Preference given to candidates possessing post-secondary education in manufacturing or relevant business related coursework. 3 – 5 years experience on a manufacturing environment.

3.Must possess thorough and relevant manufacturing knowledge.
4.Position requires occasional exercise of decision making, problem solving, policy or procedure interpretation and facilitation skills.
5.Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required.
6.Position requires computer skills including Microsoft Word and ExceRP software; with SAP knowledge a plus.
7.May generally lead 15 to 30 employees.
8.Keep Production Supervisor informed of all pertinent information and developments.
9.Position requires extensive standing and walking as part of normal job duties.
10. Candidate must be skilled in nature in order to function in an environment where a variety of occupational skills may be required.
11. Position requires ability to work in a normal production plant environment.
12. Inventory monitoring, labor error corrections, correct negative messages, reject suspense, track part shortages, and update manufacturing schedules and e-time.
13. Will be responsible for monitory the process of incoming and outgoing inventory this will be accomplished by working with a designated planner.
14. Occasionally operates production equipment and tools.
15. Supplementary assistance to line operators.
16. Train employees in operation of equipment, as needed, in operation setup and trainer level proficiency.
17. Support to shift Production Supervisor in areas of production: scheduling, manpower planning and vacation planning.
18. Lead and support projects and assignments as assigned by Production Supervisor.
19. Raw material CNS planning, parts procurement, staging and line support; with the support of SAP tools.
