This position supports the Fluor Government Group (FGG) in winning new work by writing the technical volumes for U.S. Government proposals, creating compelling value propositions, developing effective proposal materials, and implementing good business administration and marketing practices. The proposal writer is responsible for understanding the technical aspects required in a Request for Proposal (RFP), interpreting those proposal requirements, and preparing a final response that is clearly expressed to critical technical and non-technical decision makers. This position collaborates with FGG business lines to promote marketing strategies and incorporate those into sales and marketing materials. This position typically has business line intermediate coordination responsibilities and indirect reporting relationships with proposal managers and direct reporting relationship with the Marketing Director.
Serve as a competent writer and capable editor with the ability to work to strict deadlines
Effectively work multiple tasks requiring a variety of writing components.
Understand the technical information required in client Request for Information (RFIs) and RFPs including key elements of the "full spectrum life cycle" service offerings from conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction to start-up, commissioning, operations and maintenance, program management, consulting, and decommissioning.
Work with FGG proposal teams to understand the current situation (market position, competition, current capabilities, culture, and client drivers) to effectively create the content to promote Fluor's integrated solutions differentiators
Interview subject matter experts, conduct additional research on technical topics, and transform those interviews and research into clear and strong proposal text.
Provide excellent communications skills and express thoughts clearly in writing.
Understand commonly used proposal concepts, practices, and technical writing procedures.
Organize well, adhere to schedules, and handle pressure while multi-tasking.
Possess experience in understanding of the federal procurement process and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Help individual business line and proposal teams develop strategic messaging for client submittals that will enable Fluor to be the successful bidder
Conduct information gathering and market research activities by using internal company resources and databases, networking, Internet, or subscription sources to support marketing initiatives, expand industry and client knowledge, prepare responses to various client and corporate requests, and support other internal reporting needs

Reviewing and editing redlines submitted in response to new baseline development, alteration source data for incorporation into technical manuals, Technical Manual Deficiency Evaluation Report (TMDER) redlines, In-Process Review (IPR) redlines and back-check comments. We're looking for a full time Associate Writer/Producer who has solid writing, production and
editing skills as well as knowledge of all aspects of post-production. The candidate also must
be able to execute multiple assignments including on-air and off-channel promos, sales

The Associate Writer/Producer will work with Production Management to adhere to budgetary
guidelines, work with HBO Marketing Operations to book their own sessions and fulfill multiple
delivery schedules, and work closely with multiple departments (Program Marketing, Media
Relations, Affiliate Marketing, Multicultural Marketing, Ad Sales, Digital and Social Media) to
execute all promotional aspects for media creation. Work closely with outside vendors when
