Cleaning and Prep railcars for loading at customer locations
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform railcar cleaning according to established procedures
Learn and perform railcar prepping according to established procedure
Safely operate equipment
Conduct pre-inspection and post-inspection of assigned equipment

Directs and coordinates the activities of one or more manufacturing work cells within a Value Stream in the production of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. In the case of an off-shift Supervisor entire Value Streams may be supervised.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all company safety policies and report any unsafe conditions to Manufacturing Manager, EHS Manager, and/ or Director of Manufacturing
Reviews production orders/schedules/pull signals to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan production requirements
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities within and across value streams to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications
Monitors building security ensuring safe operations
Oversees Facility systems ensuring that any issues are that arise are resolved in a timely manner
Directs maintenance staff to the highest priority dispatches
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes and coaches workers to ensure compliance with standards
Conduct root cause corrective action if off track
Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Silfex's Quality Management System and properly apply Quality Procedures and Operating Procedures as appropriate
Set production goals, establish machine loads, and balance work assignments to achieve optimal flow
Collaboratively run work cell(s)/value stream(s) with technical lead persons driving continuous quality improvements and improved performance based on established metrics
Champion Lean Manufacturing within work cell(s)/value stream(s) to improve metrics (5S, TPM, One Piece Flow, SPC, Setup Reduction, and Safety)
Coach team members with their assignments and expectations on a daily basis
Monitor and achieve established AOP metrics to acceptable standards (safety, budget variances, inventory levels, on time delivery, first pass yield, scrap, rework, schedule adherence, training goals, etc.)
Foster and maintain a team environment
Insure that employees record transactions accurately, timely, and meet QMS standards
Establish training sessions for new employees and maximize production efficiency through training
Conduct employee reviews for people in the work cell(s)/value stream(s)
Implement and maintain a system of continuous improvement (goals cascading down, feedback cascading up)
Champion a reward and recognition process within work cell(s)/value stream(s) to foster participation, competitiveness, and a sense of ownership
Eligible to receive deemed exports of EAR or ITAR controlled technology
Ensure compliance to EHS requirements (EHS training, Communication, etc.)
Drive standard work throughout value stream
Ensure that OCAP are in place for critical production equipment
Ensure that PM's are completed timely and accurately
Perform tasks/duties related to special projects or assignments
Perform other duties as assigned by value stream management
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Preferred is five to ten years of manufacturing experience and one to five years supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of experience
Preferred is five or more years CNC machining and/or programming experience
Preferred is knowledge and ability to apply Lean Thinking and Tools to continuous improvement of business processes
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret dimensional prints, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry (GD&T)

Analyze equipment or machine problems, quality problems, and production delays, expediting repairs and/or corrective actions to minimize downtime and work schedule interruption. Coordinate equipment repair with maintenance department, as required.
Prepare cleaning room operating budget for assigned shift and administer and control budget during the business year.
Maintain open communications with employees and work with employees to mutually resolve problems to enhance morale and promote a union-free environment.
Maintain conformance with Company policies, work rules, and regulations, coaching employees and/or initiating disciplinary actions, as required.
Maintain awareness of improved operational methods, production processes, or equipment which improve quality and efficiency and reduce cost.
Enforce the proper use of safety equipment and maintain departmental housekeeping to produce a safe work environment. Coach employees to reinforce safe work practices.
Maintain communications with other cleaning room shifts and with other departments to promote efficient operations.

Job Skills / Requirements
PURPOSE: Supervise cleaning crew for assigned buildings(s) to assure that work will be completed properly.
Assure that duties are performed in accordance with RBM Services policies, practices, and procedures. Fill in to help crew complete tasks in any way necessary.
Coordinate the flow of information between Area Manager and the custodial staff.
Create a work environment which promotes teamwork and enforces company policies by treating employees in a "fair but firm" manner.
Insure that all work is completed as outlined.
During the work shift, walk through the buildings to inspect work of employees, and assure that it is done properly. Check with employees 2 or 3 times during the work shift to assure that they are performing the jobs in the most efficient manner. Make the necessary adjustments.
Provide direction and guidance to building leads and cleaning staff on where to focus attention and improvement efforts. Listen to employees carefully and adopt suggestions for changes when it is appropriate.
Participate in the regular inspections with the Area and Account Managers to assure that the requests and deficiencies will be completed or corrected in an excellent manner.
In coordination with Area and Account Managers, verify that all work is completed at the budgeted hours.
Personally verify that all extra work is completed as requested by the customers and report back to them.
Assure that all employees come to work on time and are wearing the required uniforms.
Assure that all employees are wearing clothes according to company policies. No open toe shoes, tank tops, low cut blouses or shorts.
Assure that all employees are clocking in and out properly every time they come to work.
Insure that custodial staff is properly trained and are complying with safety practices, MSDS, cleaning procedures and proper usage of chemicals.
Verify that custodial staff is complying with RBM and clients policies and procedures.
Insure that supplies are being used properly to prevent misuse or waste and that all equipment is stored properly at the end of the work shift. Assure the custodial crew has sufficient supplies.
Verify that all equipment is in good working condition and make arrangements with the Area Manager to assure that required repairs will be made timely.
Coordinate with the Area Manager to respond to personnel problems as they arise.
Report to building managers/owners needed repairs at the buildings (i.e. burnt out lights, broken fixtures, unsafe conditions, Security problems, etc.)
Cover for (or make arrangements to cover for) cleaning staff who may be absent to assure the completion of work.
Maintain a professional, neat, and well groomed appearance.
Have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
Have knowledge of cleaning procedures (Team and/or Green Cleaning) and OSHA regulations.
Work independently with attention to detail.
Motivate and get along with a wide variety of people.
Organize time to work efficiently and effectively.
Communicate ideas clearly.
Be able to communicate both verbally and written in English and Spanish.
Computer (word processing, email, spreadsheets) literate.
Pay: $9.00-15.00/hr depending on experience and location.

OS - Overnight Cleaning Supervisor (10:30 Pm - 7:00 Am
Employee is responsible for the direct oversight of an assigned work team/area on their designated shift.
Employee is further responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and service requirements are being met.
Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Assist in the training of cleaning associates, ensuring that all associates have a complete understanding of the company policy, procedures and expectations.
Efficiently maintain associate work schedules on a daily basis.
Supervise cleaning associates, ensuring they meet with the highest standards of cleanliness.
As necessary, function in cleaning associate role to ensure work is complete.
Maintain control of establishment keys in accordance with departmental procedures and customer security.
Ensure all associates have sufficient cleaning supplies and the knowledge of how to use them.
Set a constant example to all associates in dress and behavior, ensuring all associates are adhering to grooming and conduct standards.
Evaluates employee performance, conduct on-the-job training and coaching when necessary, and initiate disciplinary action of associates when appropriate.
Promote a safe and disciplined environment with adherence to company policy and procedures.
Report incidents, procedure, or safety violations to management.
Conduct safety meetings with employees prior to each job and assures that proper safety procedures are followed at the job site.

Able to work overnight from 10:30pm-7am
2 years commercial cleaning or comparable training or experience.
Previous supervisory experience.
Honest, trustworthy, focused with good personality.
A good team worker.
Excellent attention to detail.
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of commercial cleaning or comparable experience
Previous supervisory experience
Must be 18 years or older
Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
Must meet all the requirements to receive required airport security badge and customs seal, including a successful completion of a background check and 10 year work history.
