Check warp out paper for warp outs.
Determine loom beam to be used.
Remove empty beam from loom.
Take empty beam to storage area.
Grease/oil harness drives, bearings, and beam stand at each warp out.
Remove oil pads from underneath tappet housing and loom, scrape grease, oil and clippings from underneath loom and tappet housing. Sweep floor, mop underneath loom, beam area and tappet housing. Put out wet floor sign and remove wet floor sign only after floor has dried.
Transport loom beam from storage area to loom.
Remove loom beam from inventory.
Load new loom beam in loom.
Rack and tie beams.
Break down tie frame.
Pull knots through drop wires, heddles and reed.
Repair broken ends, remove loom safety pin, start loom and check quality.
Enter information in computer system.
Performs reties, as needed.
Assists personnel in drawing reeds.
Change battery in warp truck once per shift.
Empty mop bucket at end of each shift.
Use beam gear hand truck to remove beam gear.
Use required personal protective equipment for task at hand.
Use safety pin to lock out loom when changing warps.
Maintains clean and orderly work place.
Reports any hazardous or unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Job Summary AECOM is seeking a 3rd shift Battery Changer to support our operations and maintenance team within a million square foot distribution center in Aberdeen, MD!
- Typical schedule is Sunday
- Thursday, 11:00pm- 7:30 am.
Scheduled days and hours may vary based on business needs.
Weekend coverage may be required. This position uses specially designed equipment to safely remove discharged batteries from Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and replace fully charged batteries in same. Follow established procedures and protocols to recharge batteries so that an active fleet of equipment is available to the associates assigned to use this equipment. Perform a variety of tasks designed to maintain the battery charging equipment or to secure the safety of the charging area. Essential Functions:
Responsible for maintaining and/or replacing batteries for Material Handling Equipment.
Operate various forklifts as required to load and unload trailers, move material within the battery changing area, or remove material handling equipment from the area when the operator is unavailable.
As assigned, provide assistance or training to others and or coordinate activities. Maintain Hazardous Material awareness to ensure knowledge regarding handling and moving hazardous materials. Complete daily inspection sheet.

Description: Penske Logistics is now hiring a Battery Changer for their Maintenance Department servicing all material handling equipment in our warehouse. Come and be a part of our team! This is a second shift position working 4 days/10 hour shifts.
11:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Conducts the removal and replacement of lift batteries safely. Operates Hydra-Handler Sled.
Maintains and repairs battery cable insulation and connectors. Conducts daily/weekly Preventative Maintenance and completes daily log sheet. Monitors battery charger status & exercises corrective action as required.
Monitors Battery De-ionizer and takes corrective action. Disposes of Hazardous Materials in accordance with established OSHA procedures. Checks and maintains water levels in batteries.
