What you'll do
Utilize your inserter operations & laser printing background in a fast-growing company. We are expanding our team in our Lockport, IL Operations Center on our day shift. This shift is from 6:00am - 2:30pm.
The Inserter Operator/Laser Print Operator will be responsible for printing/processing invoices and statements on high speed laser printers and automated inserting equipment. You will also help prepare mail for entry into the USPS. This role requires a valid Driver's License with an ability and willingness to drive a company vehicle, when necessary.

Inserter Operator (Will Train) - 2Nd Shift (3:30Pm-Midnight)
This position is responsible for accurately inserting, folding, metering quality checking, and sorting customer mail per written instructions. Will train this position if necessary.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Understand and perform all aspects of inserting process including material movement, set-up, post processing and U.S.P.S. defined requirements.
Set up materials according to machinery specifications and process documents accurately per job instruction sheets.
Ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
Setup and run off-line meters.
Understand how to perform quality processes and take appropriate corrective actions.
Route materials to a final destination and complete post-processing paperwork.
Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform light machine maintenance.
Responsible for keeping the work area clean and orderly.
MUST pass a government background check

Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all store areas, inside and out, such as bathrooms, break rooms, sprinklers, and parking lots. Perform preventative and basic maintenance on all store equipment, ordering and installing parts needed for repair, coordinating with contractors when appropriate. Assist customers on the sales floor when necessary.
Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Peripheral Equipment Operator - Inserter Mailing

Card Fulfillment Services is seeking an Auto Inserter to set up and operate machinery to fill, wrap, label, and pack containers with product. This position is also responsible for filling out and maintaining all documentation, training other team members, observing operations, inspecting packaged items for conformance with specifications, and tallies and weighs products. Additionally, this position identifies equipment malfunctions and repair needs and makes minor adjustments.

SUMMARY: A Mail Inserter Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment used to fold, match and insert multiple pieces of printed material into an envelope. Experience with Pitney Bowes MSE/FPS/APS and Bell & Howell Inserters is required.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate high speed machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopes.
Sets up inserting equipment at the beginning of each job according to the specifications provided on the job ticket and runs the inserter
May operate various inserting equipment
Evaluates imaged forms by ensuring that the bar code is correct to prevent machine error from occurring
Inserts address tags into mail sacks, tubs or trays used for bulk mailing of ID Cards, kits, subscription magazines and catalogs
Keeps work area in order and staged with product and follows prescribed safety regulations
Performs quality control during each mailing to ensure product meet USPS requirements
Reads postal statement and sorts mail accordingly
Inspects the finished product by verifying the correct construction and components to ensure that mailability and quality standards are met.
Maintains equipment, troubleshoots equipment problems, performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required and identify repairs if needed
Makes adjustments as required to return output to the proper specifications
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager
Able to cross train into other departments outside of the insertion functions
Flexibility with working 1st, 2nd and possibly 3rd shifts based on production needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Experienced Pitney Bowes MSE/FPS/APS and Bell & Howell machine operator - minimum of 1 full year

Will operate Pitney Bowes high speed statement inserter.
Repetitive standing, bending and lifting are required; ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Must be able to work in a time critical work environment, some overtime is required.
