Once containers are unloaded from the vessel, logistics coordinator needs to monitor and arrange the deliveries as needed/instructed and communicate with shipping lines, trucking companies and customers to complete deliveries or resolve any issue causing delay of the delivery. Data entry into system is needed daily. Daily/weekly report preparation may be needed
- Direct Ship operation is monitoring ocean freights and work with shipping lines, truckers, and customers until delivery completion. During that phase, document providing and clearing Pierpass may be needed and cleared upon request
- Alternatively, you may be assigned to other position due to availability of the position at the moment which update the status of hundreds of containers daily basis and record the event dates including discharging from vessel & gate-out date from the port, and additional event dates may be needed for rail movement
- Data entry for the event date is needed

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd., a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor, is aggressively seeking a Junior Engineer to provide support to the Littoral Combat Ship Production Department for the planning and execution of events from Start of Construction to Sailaway. The Littoral Combat Ship ProductionDepartment is a program office within the Program Executive Office (PEO) Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). This is a fast-paced acquisition program that delivers ships annually. Twelve ships are in various stages of construction at two shipyards; however, this position will focus on support of Independence Variant built in Mobile, Alabama. The Junior Engineer will perform duties at the Washington Navy Yard, S.E., Washington, DC. Primary duties will consist of the following responsibilities:
- Responsibilities are principally to support the Government Leads organize, coordinate, and execute the Start of Construction to Sailaway activities including:
- Production Readiness Reviews (PRR)
- Builder’s Trials (BT)
- Acceptance Trials (AT)
- Industrial Post Delivery Availability (IPDA)
- Crew Move Aboard (CMA)
- Light-Off Assessments (LOA)
- Crew Familiarization (CREW FAM) which includes a brief underway period.
- There will be a significant focus on support for the IPDA which is a two to three month availability performed after delivery at the construction shipyard which may be expanded to include drydocking work elements of the Post Shakedown Availability work package.

Ship Repair Estimator
The Estimator formulates outlines of itemized work descriptions by computing time, engineering, direct costs, and labor estimates for products and projects to develop total project cost; provides a complete and accurate job book for each job to the shipyard superintendent. Manage the prearrival process to achieve a consistent and predictable start schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop detailed labor and material estimates for shipyard/shop work and repairs to be accomplished on Government and Commercial vessels including general cargo, containers, tankers, bulk carriers, tugs, offshore supply vessels, and barges using drawings and specifications as well as on-site ship checks for interference and access problems.
Keep master purchase orders, options, product pricing up to date to ensure the most accurate estimates.
Correct existing job books when variances impact production schedules.
Work closely with Production to ensure all information is represented appropriately.
Prepare Bid Response Letter to be sent to the customers.
Manage and complete job book files on assigned dates.
Generate purchase orders and update master suppliers and subcontractors list.
Track on-going work and repairs for feedback of material and man-hour estimating effort using all cost reports and purchase order data available, plus on-site observations and direct interface with key production.
Prepare work breakdown structures to support proposal submittals and establish an execution approach for work requirements with project and production.
Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum three (3) years of experience in budget/planning/estimating within a shipyard environment.
Equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will also be considered.
Must be familiar with working in the ship repair industry.
Experience and knowledge of shipboard systems, spaces, configuration, as well as labor and material costs necessary to perform repairs, upgrades, alterations and maintenance to same.

Interface with CNAL N432 for specific report format and content. The report shall include a recommended corrective action for each reported item and overall conclusions and recommendations for MSC current process and procedural improvements.
