We have an opportunity for a Forming Machine Operator at our Hazleton,PA, folding carton plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity of package material.
Package product in proper containers.
Inspect and remove defective product from production line.
Stop machine when malfunction occur and report immediate to mechanics or supervisor.
Stamp finished good product with packer ID number.
The ability to pack sleeved product into corrugated case, seal (tape) and stack on a pallet.
Perform housekeeping duties to insure department and company standards are maintained.
Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by lead person and supervisor.

Key leader of Continuous Improvement (C.I.) of Libbey's Press, Blow and LESWS Value Stream manufacturing processes. Individual in this role will work in a team environment with Process Engineering and representatives from key support departments to optimize job change and manufacturing processes to ensure product meets Quality specifications, drive optimization of throughput (OEE), while controlling and reducing unit cost. Packaging Machine Operator / Carton Handler
The candidate will be responsible for Packaging Machine Operator tasks and Carton handler tasks and will be crewed where needed daily.
The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating assigned packaging machines and statistical weighers, in order to pack the optimum number of quality packages of product.
PMO Job Description:
Set-up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate code dates and weights and that the correct product is put into correct bags.
Ensure that each bag is properly coded, dated and sealed with a minimum amount of wasted product and supplies.
Responsible for ensuring that the product to be packed remains clean.
Keeps assigned machines and area clean and safe.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on packaging machines, to include cleaning and changing knives/blades, pull-belts, tape machines, and rollers
Clean and sanitize lines during changeovers from one product to another
