The ABOT Operator loads, operates and maintains the Automatic Box Opener (ABOT) machine. The principal business outcome of this role is enabling product shipments to stores by ensuring an appropriate supply of assembled shipping cartons. This position works under general supervision, interacting with a supervisor several times a week to receive guidance and feedback. Most non-routine activities will require a supervisor's advance approval.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Responsible for the proper loading and erecting of cartons supplied to the order pulling modules.
Operates carton erector equipment / Automatic Box Opener machine (ABOT) as required.
Sets up carton erector to various box sizes in ABOT machine to ensure Order Pickers have correctly sized shipping cartons.
Cleans ABOT machinery and surrounding areas as needed to achieve optimal efficiency and safety.
Fulfills daily all carton processing that is allocated for order pulling.
Consistent with the general scope of this role, provides assistance in other departments as needed to support the overall business objectives of the department.
Adheres to all equipment operation requirements and safety policies.

The Stock Selector is responsible for set up and operation of all Laser equipment. Understand all safety procedures involving the Laser function. Understand blueprints and its relationship to laser marking the product. Ability to use measuring devices to ensure accurate positioning of marking.

You will be trained in use of a Class 1 (protected) and Class 4 (unprotected) laser marker system, including all safety procedures, including Personal Protection Equipment and 5S Philosophies and laser room functions, fire extinguishers, ventilation, safety interlocks, fume extraction, etc.
You will Familiar with the functional checks and basics of the equipment. Notify maintenance personnel of need to scheduled or required service.
You will Interact with Laser using LaserCad User Interface to call up and activate required programs to accomplish specified mark. Contact Level 2 personnel or assigned manufacturing engineer for mark corrections.
General knowledge of hand measuring tools, optical comparator, etc. to evaluate marked part content / location. Submit first article for inspection as required.
Understand and Utilize provided tooling to accurately position parts for marking.
Laser mark parts in accordance to drawing specifications and / or customer requirements.
Knowledgeable of appropriate Customer and Mil specs, etc. needed for day-to-day marking activities
Visually evaluate mark for acceptance to specified criteria.
Knowledgeable of 2D Matrix theory and practices
Use Verification equipment including camera and scanner to capture and evaluate 2D Matrix marks manufactured by Laser process
You will utilize 2D Matrix log to capture and archive Matrix images
Apply protective coating (Alodize) as defined per drawing and or router instructions
Responsible for continuous improvement and cost out activities
You will Maintain a workflow in laser marking area to eliminate bottlenecks

Digitizes patterns for garment development process and makes modifications of the pattern in graphic design software.
Creates and distributes product design and pattern documentation.
Applies standard company grading and ensures quality standards are used during the product development process and for final production.
Applies standard alterations and ensures quality standards are met during the pre-production order processing for special orders.
Prepares and creates patterns from plastic and paper based materials.
Performs such similar, comparable or related duties, as may be required, including guiding and assisting other CAD Marker Makers.
Working level knowledge in the use of CAD (computer-assisted drafting) equipment, and pattern cutting in the garment industry.
Experience: Marker making and CAD experience in the garment manufacturing industry are required.
Skills/Aptitudes: Attention to details; mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity; and data entry, organizational and oral and written communication skills are required.
Working Conditions: Office and plant environments. Occasional overtime may be required.
