JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY With relation to current production schedule, will assist production floor leads in coordinating crew assignments and ensuring position rotation throughout shift, setting equipment parameters and performing various product quality inspections. Employee will be responsible for the day to day operation and upkeep of the case erector, case sealer, case coder, checkweigher, palletizer system.
Maintain effective communication with production supervisor, production line lead, filler, batcher and QC personnel. Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Startup, setup, operate and monitor packaging equipment: case coders, case barcoders, case checkweighers, palletizer, carton former and sealer in accordance with specific product MSP. Assist floor leads in coordinating crew assignments and ensuring position rotation throughout shift. 2. Measure internal pouch temperature, seal integrity, water temperature and chemical tests.
Complete packaging reports, end of run, re-work and reprocessing documentation in accordance with SOPs. Complete weekly sanitation tasks and documentation in accordance with SSOPs. Assist floor lead in ensuring packaging crew follows GMPs and plant safety rules.
Monitor glue levels, chlorine levels, manual labeled cases, and fiber usage for cost reduction and to minimize downtime and loss of production. Monitor rework to make sure that it is cut according to procedures and within the allotted time limits, monitor reprocessing to minimize the loss of product. Employee shall ensure completion of all associated paperwork with rework and reprocessing included, at the end of their shift. 3.
Case-maker operator shall assist floor lead with relieving packaging crewmembers and forklift drivers for breaks, and meal periods. Assist floor leads with on the job training for new and temporary employees. Thorough shift pass-down will be required with oncoming operators. 4.

Ability to read labels and codes on boxes and product Physical Demands: Agile, ability to stand for long periods of time, reaching, bending, lift 40 lbs, pushing, pulling, stretching Work Environment: Food plant operating 24 hours a day 5-6/days a week, cold, hot and humid ambient conditions, wet/dry floors, high noise levels, moving machinery, forklift and pedestrian traffic Special Equipment Used:

Quality Cup Caser Needed:
- $10.00-$10.50 p/hr.
Candidates for this temp-to-hire assignment have the chance to be cross trained and will be evaluated for promotion on a regular basis.
- Located in Dublin, VA near Pulaski High School
- 1st & 2nd Shift availability
- Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00am-7:00pm -or- 2nd Shift 7:00pm-7:00am
- 12 Hour Shift / Every other weekend
- $10.00 for 1st Shift
- $10.50 for 2nd Shift
Quality Cup Caser Duties:
- Conducting quality checks of a variety of plastic products
- Maintaining a clean production line
- Putting product in sleeves and packing product into boxes
- Building boxes
Quality Cup Caser Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Steel Toe or Composite Toe Boots or Shoes
- Lifting requirement of 40lbs frequently
- 3-6 months production or manufacturing experience
