We are looking for quality candidates for our fast-paced and hands-on manufacturing positions at Red Wing Shoe Company. Our manufacturing positions require attention to detail, quality output, and efficiency. Employees may work in team settings and/or independently.
We are hiring for Production Operator positions (must apply online only):
Day Shift Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3pm and Friday 6:00am – Noon; and
2nd Shift Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am.
Starting wage is $15.55 per hour. After 6 months hourly rate increases to $16.55 hour. There is a 5% incentive for 2nd shift.
Employees working 2nd Shift receive a 5% shift premium. Our manufacturing facility is a union shop and offers competitive wages and benefits.
RequirementsBasic qualifications include:
0-2 years of experience in a light industrial or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
Ability to frequently stand, twist, bend, grasp and perform additional movements as required by specific equipment and work processes.
Ability to work effectively as a team
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

MISSION / SUMMARY: Responsible for safely and efficiently staging and moving materials and finished goods, and producing a quality product.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Understand and comply with plant and finishing department rules, regulations, and procedures

General schedule is an 8 or 12 hour shift, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so
Standing for extended periods of time up to 12-hours.
Lifting up to 20 lbs.
Reading computer screen or other electronic devices
Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment

Part Time Shoe Sales Associate
As a Sales Associate, you will join the Belk family, report directly to the Sales Team Manager, and be responsible for:
Providing Excellent Customer Service:
Proactively greeting and engaging customers warmly and with a smile.

Ray-Brake Shoe Assembler
Place brake shoes on brackets for bonding oven.
Place bands and lining on brake shoes
Place the shoes onto the conveyor belt to go through the oven.
When the conveyor is full, the process is to load and unload the conveyor belt.
Place shoes onto a pallet and slide down conveyor.
Goal is 1600 per day.
Required to participate in a department stretching exercise daily at the start of each shift.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Constantly on feet all day, standing in one place.
Use common sense and exercise sound judgement. Wear eye and hearing protection.
Maintain a clean, neat and organized environment.
