Pen Checker - Horse Position
This person will be responsible for:
Riding assigned pens daily as scheduled, excluding extreme weather conditions.
Being accountable for cattle health in assigned pens by detecting sick or injured cattle.
Properly diagnosing cattle through mail or radio contact with Cattle Health team and pulling cattle to the adjacent hospital pen.
Sorting cattle, including removing withdrawal cattle according to sales schedule, wrong penners, and mixed pens.
Moving cattle within the feedyard.
Gathering loose cattle and taking them to their appropriate pens.
Checking water tanks to ensure functionality.
Utilizing animal health reports and interpreting the data to support decisions.
Reporting vet pen and general pen maintenance to Pen Checking Team Lead or Supervisor.
Communicating problematic pens with leadership immediately.
Calling in moralities and animals for euthanasia to the Cattle Health team.
Ensuring holding pens around the processing facilities are emptied daily.
Ensuring general care for your horses (i.e. shoeing, vaccinations, feeding).
Maintaining and cleaning your area (i.e. tack, run, water tanks, hay feeders) within the facility, including the break room.
Assisting in other areas of cattle production, including but not limited to Cattle Logistics, Cattle Distribution, and East Lot.
Rotating the on-call responsibilities for unloading incoming cattle on the weekends.
Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
Cattle handling knowledge and experience.
Intermediate to advanced horsemanship skills.
Knowledge of sick or injured cattle, including basic animal health diagnosis.
Must be team-oriented.
High attention to detail.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Feedlot, sale barn, and/or ranch experience is preferred.

Dock CheckerSummary: The Dock Checker is responsible for filling customer orders in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity. Efficiently fills customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

This terrific opportunity is located at Sysco IFG's facility in Jacksonville, FL.
The primary purpose of the Checker is to support the outbound shipping department. Checkers are responsible for accurately verifying all outgoing product.
This will include dates if applicable, quantities, correct pack size and description. All of this is done with compliance of Sysco’s Preferred Work Methods.
Checkers will verify the order has been selected accurately by using sheets generated from SWMS. Checkers will then tag all outgoing pallets so a loader is signaled he can load. Once this is complete, Checkers will transfer all dates and information to warehouse pull sheet.
Obtain Market Manager’s approval when product is short dated and notify Warehouse Supervisor.
Cleaning and assisting in cleanliness of warehouse. Other Operations duties as assigned.
Must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Must be able to effectively communicate (including reading, writing, and speaking) in English.

6 months experience with regular use of an electric single, double, or triple pallet jack is preferred.

Engine Testing: Perform a variety of engineering tests on various engine types (B&S and competitors): (examples: dynamometer, horsepower, oil consumption etc¿) within the test house according to engineering standards.
