The catalysts are used to convert the heavy fraction of crude oil to useable and more valuable products to be used as fuels (gasoline and heating oil) and chemical feedstocks (propylene and butylene). Account Manager, Fluid Cracking Catalyst (1604014) You would manage all aspects of customer accounts and relationships for the assigned territory and customer portfolio to meet sales, technical service, market share, and profitability targets. You will have accountability for all commercial and technical service activities related to the assigned FCC Catalysts customer portfolio, in addition to supporting R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain activities to meet customer needs. Overall financial responsibility for the assigned sales territory and account portfolio, which includes financial metrics targeting volume, margin, costs, and receivables. Leverage the overall FCC Catalysts Division (CCR) global strategy to develop territory and customer strategies.
Strategies shall be supported by well-defined implementation plans to execute against key strategic objectives to accelerate growth, to properly position our product offering with the customer base, and to maximize market penetration. Identify new business opportunities and enhance existing customer relationships through relationship mapping and account penetration Responsible for sales forecasting, pricing, CRM tool management, and other projects as assigned to support account management activities Demonstrate leadership and the ability to work cross-functionally within BASF to promote BASF FCC products, technology, innovation and goodwill within the region. Evaluate requests for technical and commercial proposals, including performing a detail technical analysis, technical modeling and simulations, performing pricing evaluations and developing commercials terms when required.
Liaise with customer technical and operational teams to advise and assist with technical troubleshooting, offering consultation and implementing modeling scenarios to solve operational issues specific refinery processes or the FCC unit. Establish and maintain relationships with key customer personnel, as well as key external stakeholders to enhance commercial effectiveness and drive financial results. The Account Manager will manage all relationships between the regional refineries and BASF.

What We Look For in You… Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science and 7+ years of refining experience and/or refining licensor background with at least 5+ years of FCC process experience required. Our client is a leader in the metal recycling industry has an immediate opening for a Route Driver/Catalytic Converter/Metals Buyer who will purchase catalytic converters from dealers and shops.
This full time, hands-on sales and marketing position entails local travel, and limited out of town and overnight trips (approximately 1-2 times each month). Candidates must have strong negotiation skills, and the ability to deal with various personalities in the field. This position will primarily maintain existing accounts and related paperwork, and will also develop new accounts.
- This person must be very organized with a high attention to detail to complete required paperwork as needed.
- Strong math and written skills required with proven record of success, ability to working independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid CDL (class B) with Airbrake Endorsement or the ability to acquire CDL; must have driving record that meets Company's insurability requirements.
- Retail route driving experience is preferred.
- Experience with catalytic converters, metals, or auto parts (rims/non-ferrous materials) is a plus but not necessary; will train.
- Candidates must be able to lift 5 – 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

The hiring firm has been contracted to install a traction power static frequency converter for a major transit authority in the northeastern US. As part of this effort, a Field Service Engineer is needed to oversee the technical installation and testing of equipment.
The Field Service Engineer responsibilities include the following:
Incoming inspection of the material for:
conformity/completeness according to dispatch notes
Assembly of the materials according to:
design plan, layout, and assembly drawings
operation instructions of sub-suppliers
internal assembly and mounting instructions
VDE, DIN, ANSI, NEMA guidelines
Supervising the assembly and mounting processes.
Establishing the assembly and mounting flowchart.
Coordination of the third party companies according to the progress of works.
Supervision of third party companies by means of schedules, working reports, and checklists.
Checking the execution of assembly and mounting works including:
visual inspections, comparison with drawings
verification of cable and wiring connections

Skills and competencies:

We are looking for Converting Machine Operators (both Day Shift & Night Shift openings available) to run packaging machines. This position will be on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule and require OT. Essential Duties and
- Read and understand work orders, including special instructions and ordering boxes and labels from shipping
- Locate and print labels for finished goods and properly label pallets of finished goods

- Understand, utilize, and complete the Daily Continuous Improvement Board
- Complete necessary changeovers in the allotted time set for each job/work order
- Complete proper shift turnover process
- Demonstrate full proficiency and proper Operator techniques for at least one machine within Machine Group meeting quality standards. Machine Groups are currently defined as Paper, Poly, Sideweld/Wickets, and Auxiliary (Bubble/Kalfass, etc.)
- Meet production standards and throughput per Scrap/ERR/OEE for machine operating
- Set, change/adjust, and maintain tension control while also understanding Automatic and Manual control
- Unwind the machine when needed and demonstrate basic unwind troubleshooting skills
- Perform proper roll change in designated time allotted per production standards
- Perform and maintain standard operations of the machine, including change out glue heads, thread release liner, web machine, adjust air pressure, replace/change Teflon, adjust knife to maintain repeat and seals, clear jams and reset machine, and all other applicable maintenance (dependent upon machine type)
