The catalysts are used to convert the heavy fraction of crude oil to useable and more valuable products to be used as fuels (gasoline and heating oil) and chemical feedstocks (propylene and butylene). Account Manager, Fluid Cracking Catalyst (1604014) You would manage all aspects of customer accounts and relationships for the assigned territory and customer portfolio to meet sales, technical service, market share, and profitability targets. You will have accountability for all commercial and technical service activities related to the assigned FCC Catalysts customer portfolio, in addition to supporting R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain activities to meet customer needs. Strategies shall be supported by well-defined implementation plans to execute against key strategic objectives to accelerate growth, to properly position our product offering with the customer base, and to maximize market penetration. Identify new business opportunities and enhance existing customer relationships through relationship mapping and account penetration Responsible for sales forecasting, pricing, CRM tool management, and other projects as assigned to support account management activities Demonstrate leadership and the ability to work cross-functionally within BASF to promote BASF FCC products, technology, innovation and goodwill within the region. Evaluate requests for technical and commercial proposals, including performing a detail technical analysis, technical modeling and simulations, performing pricing evaluations and developing commercials terms when required.
Liaise with customer technical and operational teams to advise and assist with technical troubleshooting, offering consultation and implementing modeling scenarios to solve operational issues specific refinery processes or the FCC unit. Establish and maintain relationships with key customer personnel, as well as key external stakeholders to enhance commercial effectiveness and drive financial results. The hiring firm has been contracted to install a traction power static frequency converter for a major transit authority in the northeastern US. As part of this effort, a Field Service Engineer is needed to oversee the technical installation and testing of equipment.
The Field Service Engineer responsibilities include the following:
Incoming inspection of the material for:
conformity/completeness according to dispatch notes
Assembly of the materials according to:
design plan, layout, and assembly drawings
operation instructions of sub-suppliers
internal assembly and mounting instructions
VDE, DIN, ANSI, NEMA guidelines
Supervising the assembly and mounting processes.
Establishing the assembly and mounting flowchart.
Coordination of the third party companies according to the progress of works.
Supervision of third party companies by means of schedules, working reports, and checklists.
Checking the execution of assembly and mounting works including:
visual inspections, comparison with drawings
verification of cable and wiring connections
initial functional tests of subsystem or components.

Skills and competencies:

Proficient in knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70: National Electrical Code), NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) NESC (The National Electrical Safety Code), OSHA Law and Regulations, NETA standards (Standard for acceptance testing specifications for electrical power equipment and systems), VDE, DIN, ANSI, NEMA guidelines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in contractor management.
Minimum 3 years of experience in high voltage yard on-site environment.
Preferred experience in railway traction power system. Experience in power generation industry is secondary preference.
Preferred work experience in PA, NJ, NY area.

OSHA 30-Hour Training For Construction certificate preferred.
There will be a 6 month training in Norway on the Static Frequency Converter being installed in Norway prior to the commencement of work in Wayne Junction PA.
Operator Helper - Equipment Operator
Under supervision, perform semi-skilled manual work in connection with an entry level position in power plant operation. Assist equipment operators while learning the following job duties:
Isolate, clean, open, replace, inspect, close and return to service plant equipment. Isolate equipment and place/remove clearance tags in the plant and switchyard. Operate, regulate, adjust, clean and perform minor maintenance on plant auxiliary systems.
Monitor and inspect all plant equipment for normal operation. Identify and report abnormal conditions to the proper authority and write work orders. Operate, clean, service and lubricate portable power driven tools and equipment.
Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Utilize portable meters, analyzers and equipment to conduct tests and monitoring. Lubricate and check lubrication equipment; adjust packing glands as necessary and perform necessary operative maintenance, using appropriate hand tools.
Operate oil filtering equipment. Erect and remove simple scaffolding and rigging. Perform routine cleaning of plant areas and equipment, including outside areas, as assigned.
Load, unload, move and handle materials, supplies and equipment; open boxes, barrels, bags and other materials using material handling equipment.
Monitor water chemistry as required. Maintain water pH and follow EPA guidelines as applicable.
Assist in preparing boilers and auxiliaries for operation and removal from service. If applicable, monitor coal feed to mills and burners and observe conditions of fires and furnaces. Hand lance slag in boilers, hand- operating soot blowers, unplugging ash lines, disposing of clinkers and other similar work.
Use flow diagrams to identify system piping and equipment and revise these prints as required. Make required equipment checks and assist in performing tests and preparing related reports, graphs and curves. Perform duties in accordance with Company's safety rules, operating regulations and practices and report unsafe conditions and practices.
Train for and carry out assignments in firefighting, first aid and other emergency response programs as required. Perform other job duties as assigned.
