Operators are required, once trained, to run a 2L batch reactor under specified sets of conditions to evaluate the performance of new catalysts, as well as the potential to do polymer characterization or other chemistries in the future.
Some of the daily task include, but are not limited to packaging and disposing of waste per RCRA regulations , preparing polymer samples, preparing catalyst samples, documenting experiments, basic lab analysis such as gravimetric analysis and titrations, communicating with scientists and peers and general housekeeping task.
The job role requires a strong troubleshooting ability, the ability to make decisions quickly, a flexible work schedule to complete a set of given experiments, keeping up with appropriate documentation of experiments, attention to detail to understand the process, and participating in safety related programs such as safety checks and proper PPE.
Due to the overwhelming demand of runs, this position was just created and will work either 12 hour day or night shifts, 4 days a week on a 24/4 schedule.
Some general maintenance of the reactor may be required.
There is potential for overtime in the role.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the selected candidate will participate in the full life cycle of production.

This position will be responsible for preparing batches, operating process equipment, staging materials, general housekeeping, monitoring of assigned equipment, loading materials, quality assurance, packaging and loading of trucks.
This is a shift position. After you have completed your training on first shift, you will be assigned to a shift depending on the needs of the business.
Operators will follow a defined training plan after hiring. Starting wage is $21/hour with further wage increases for reaching developmental milestones available. Additional promotional and advancement opportunities exist.

The department consists of 3 full time SUD evaluators, one full time gambling counselor, and a supervisor. The department is tasked with performing scheduled SUD assessments from the community and as needed on the inpatient medical and psychiatric units. We see patients 18 or older of all socioeconomic classes, of all gender orientations or cultural backgrounds. Other duties include doing updated SUD evaluations for patients admitting to Lodging Plus and reviewing SUD evaluations from outside referrals for Lodging Plus.
