The SNO is the senior represented Nuclear Operator on a shift. The SNO directs and coordinates the work of all Operators of a lower grade on shift that are engaged in the operation of a Nuclear Power Plant, including the Nuclear Steam Supply System, Turbine Generator and all Auxiliary Equipment and associated 345KV and 115KV Switchyards during plant startup, shutdown, refueling, emergency and normal operating conditions.
From an operating standpoint, the SNO is responsible for proper operation of all the Nuclear Power Plant's equipment within the confines of Technical Specifications, Operating Procedures, Special Procedures and all other procedures that apply to operation of the Nuclear Power Plant. As the Senior Nuclear Operator on the shift, he/she may be present at any point within the Nuclear Power Plant or its associated 345KV or 115K Switch Yards as conditions dictate so as to most efficiently discharge the duties of the SNO. The SNO may, when conditions or circumstances dictate, assume the duties and responsibilities of the Nuclear Control Operator. (Some of these are core alterations, fuel movement, license requirements and plant emergencies). Special duties include, but are not limited to:
Directs (and may perform when conditions and circumstances dictate) the work and duties of lower grade Nuclear Operators. From an operating standpoint, coordinates the activities of personnel working in the plant facilities. Maintains an active interest in the Operations of the Nuclear Power Plant and through reading and study should keep current with the technological advances as they apply to the position of Senior Nuclear Operator.

Job Summary The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado, is the nation's primary laboratory for research, development, and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. The National Bioenergy Center at NREL has an opening for a full time Intern in bench scale reactor operation.
The successful candidate will support multiple projects via operation of entrained flow and packed bed laboratory reactors. The intern will load reactors with solid catalysts and check systems for leaks, operate reactors and collect analytical data, clean and calibrate equipment, prepare and analyze raw data sets, and present findings at group meetings. Required Education and Experience:
Currently pursuing or recently awarded a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science; classroom training (coursework) in catalysis and/or reaction engineering; experience with equipment operated by a control system/interface; experience working with Microsoft Office software tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Job Description : Selected candidates for the Shift Support Supervisor in Training will perform Operations staff functions for plant familiarization to prepare for an upcoming NRC Hot License Class. Candidates must successfully complete plant-provided systems and fundamentals training on reactor operation, heat transfer, fluid flow, and thermodynamics, as well as pass initial screening and annual medical requirements for acquiring and maintaining industrial fire brigade duties. Upon the successful completion of Hot License Class and attaining an NRC Operating License, the SRO candidate will become a Shift Support Supervisor, directing operating shift personnel in the performance of plant duties. This will include standing watch on rotating 12-hour shifts, and coordinating and directing the operation of the nuclear power plant's systems. Shift work, continuous training with periodic examinations, respirator qualification, and maintaining qualification as a member of the plant Fire Brigade are all requirements of this position.

Head Equipment Operator (Ft) - Citrus Golf
Operates more complex motorized equipment and vehicles on the golf course, including but not limited to triplex and 5-gang self-contained mowing units, mechanical loaders, dump truck, tractor backhoe, etc. Moves soil, debris and other material and digs holes and trenches.
Maintains equipment. Changes cups and tee-maker and maintains ball washers hazard stakes, traffic control rope, etc. Sprays pesticides and applies fertilizer to the course.
Performs greens keeper duties when needed. What will I be doing? What are we looking for?
