Your tasks will include:
Approaches and listens to the customer at all times in order to provide in-depth product knowledge, refer customers to the specialized selling team, and build long term trust.
Offers IKEA Family Program, Credit, and Gift Registry to all visitors in order to build loyalty and customer relationships.
Understands the needs of the customers Life at Home and shares this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
Offers customers the appropriate service products available in IKEA in order to help customers make informed choices, which results in a better "one stop" shopping experience and supports the customer with the same knowledge in any channel they decide to purchase.
Uses knowledge of both the product and the solutions offered by IKEA's multichannel organization so that customers leave with a positive impression.
Acts as a Home Furnishing Host in order to provide knowledge about store layout and in-store promotions as well as to answer customer questions and to collect customer intelligence.
Conveys and possesses a high level of knowledge of the Kitchens and Bath Business, including but not limited to working with room layouts and basic understanding of home conditions (e.g. electrical, plumbing, gas lines etc.).
Collaborates with the IHP (IKEA Home Planner) to coach the customer through the buying and planning process.
Provides Kitchen Services at all points of the customer journey to ensure they get the right experience based on their needs, knowledge, ability and budget.

Assistant Kitchen And Bath Designer
Design Studio by Raymond has the finest selection of Cabinets in Naples, Fort Myers, and all of SW Florida. We are looking for an Assistant Kitchen and Bath Designer at our North Port location.
The Assistant Kitchen and Bath Designer will work with a Sr. Cabinet Designer to assist with the design, estimating and ordering process. This position will also follow up with customers and staff to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner. Must also possess a working knowledge of cabinetry and associated software.
Essential Job Duties:
Greet clients to the design center, assess clients needs and assist the customer with product selection and order appropriate materials and quantities for the projects
Perform automated design capability within stock and semi custom product categories
Conduct bid and prep proposal functions
Order project materials
Arrange project schedules, sub contractor schedules and material deliveries
Act as the liaison between the customer, materials vendors and subcontractors
Understand all aspects of customer billing cycle, cash vs. credit, and how to figure and process a deposit by having a thorough knowledge of the paperwork flow and distribution process
Must possess the necessary knowledge to be able to explain the differences in cabinet lines to customers
Basic knowledge of cabinet design software, order entry of industry related software, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Maintain an active file of new and existing customers
Coordinate the delivery to contractor-remodeler customers on an as needed basis
Know the pricing multipliers and current lead times for all cabinet lines, countertop fabricators, and all miscellaneous products available
Understand the receiving process and the paperwork associated with the process. Call vendors to follow up on any backordered items
Know the warranty policies of all items sold. Be able to order such items when requested by customer.
Complies with Companys attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Minimum experience required 2-5 years of Kitchen & Bath industry experience
Special skills required Basic computer-aided drafting skills, good verbal communication skills and design presentation skills.
Special knowledge required- Basic knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design, general knowledge in all aspects of design and construction and of building materials
Maintain a valid drivers license to operate a motor vehicle in the state of sales activity.
Physical demands include sitting for extended periods of time, standing and walking, bending or stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
